More posts, eh?

Just got my hair done-- still not sure what I think of it... I rotate between liking it, or else thinking it makes me look really, really skanky.... Emily will fill you in tomorrow on what she thinks of it.

I just finished reading Jazz by Toni Morrision today. Perhaps I'm the only one, but I really, didn't enjoy it. Couldn't get into it at all, had a headache the whole way through.

Labour history class was fun: our teacher decided to argue that music unified the working class community and (cause I guess she didn't feel like lecturing) played about a dozen different worker's songs. Extremely relaxing.

Jason--I echo the sentiments of everyone else who has posted.  I mean, I've never had a terrible job, but I know what it's like to feel pressured and unhappy at one.  I guess I don't understand workplace hierarchies sometimes...it seems that imcompetent jackasses (not to mention dishonest ones) can easily become CEOs while hard, earnest young workers get the short end of the stick.  Not always.  But sometimes.  Good vibes to you!

[move=left,scroll,6,transparent,100%]~~~~~~~~~~~~~~[/move]

Today, my mom scanned some pics of me at her workplace.  I thought with the early Judy pics I would post one.  I think I was about 16 or 17 when this was taken...right around Swishy's age!

Yes I know. But it's still very far off. And if I cannot be Queen, I want to be a godess!

www.clicksmilies.com is the location DR Jennifer!  DR Joy introduced it to use a couple of weeks ago.

I am so confused. I obviously know that location well. Did someone else ask about it?

Btw, you know how a bunch of Kimlets have said that they've had karma taken away. Well just now I noticed that mine is down (either 1 or 2). It must be 1, cause I doubt 2 people would boo me on the same day.  I must be way too sensitive. But it actually made me sad.  Oh and DR Maya's pic put us in widesreen.

I look forward to your arrival Jack. I do hope suitable shrine building plans have been approved.
I just looked behind me in case we were actually in CINERAMA and the voice of Lowell Thomas was about to echo around these walls.

To boo at all is most unseemly. Maybe Mr Barkalot can take away the function. but please leave the modify function. I use it so often. Infallible I am most certainly not.

Jennifer, I was having trouble changing my avatar and I had posted a question about it, attaching that picture.  But then I decided it was a question for the Tech Support board, so I reposted it there.

Sorry to confuse you!  Hee hee

Will BK announced the winner of the smilies contest in tomorrow's notes? I have been able to see them all, except that one set that DR George tried to post. It just looked like Xs to me.

That's okay DR Joy. I didn't realize that you could modify and remove the whole post. But if I had known the picture was disappearing forever, I would have taken a better look at it :)

We are in widescreen right now - at least I am.  Anyone else?  I think it's the lovely pic of Maya, so maybe she can repost and downsize it just a bit in size.

Yes, I have expectations only because I have been spoiled.  Spoil me some more, why don't you?

Yes BK it's Maya's picture. But is widescreen really so bad? :)

Yes, it's bad.  I'm missing 30% of the image I should be seeing.  I don't have a large monitor.

Maya is not on line right now.

It's a lovely photo, though!  :)

DR Ron, can't you just go to the bottom of your screen to view the rest of the picture?

Yes I think it will go back to normal on the next page.

I agree, to boo is very unseemly.  Plus it makes you wonder if people don't like you (i like to be liked). I did like the notion that it was all happening by mistake. But now I don't think so.

Btw, what happens if you boo a god?

I think we have many more posts to get to page 9.

But anything that brings me closer to becoming a goddess cannot be all that bad.

Request: I am soon to make my Christmas gift Cd compilations. I am contemplating making a CD with "BEAR" songs and another with "Bicycles and Wheels". I have the obvious titles like Pushbike song, Bicycle Race and Simon Smith.., Dancing Bear and Teddy Bear (Let me Be Your) but need more and "Google" is not much help.

Jennifer - I don't really watch the show, but based on what I've read, and what I've heard people say, my money would be on Estella

Thanks Maya (I guess). Back to normal - well as near normal as some of us can be.

Thanks to the karma fairies for bringing back my karma up to its original level.  I think some people here are very good about that.  I hate negativity but I almost wish that whoever is booing people would have the guts to say it. Some how I guarantee you that if we could see who was booing and who was applauding, that the booing would stop.
