Have you ever known what it means to be an orphan?

Often.

Dear Friend BK, kudos on 90,000!  I meant to ask earlier about the location for this March 17 reading.  If it's you know where, I won't show.

Mr Dobson was just interviewed as a part of the inauguration crap.  He kept mentioning his Christian viewpoint.  .

I keep wondering if they  ever heard of that guy who said  "Judge not. lest ye be judged " and "Before your remove the splinter from your brothers' eye remove the log from yours"...who was that guy again?

Oh yeah, Christ

DR Matt - while I seem to be one of the only people here who have an over-fondness for ALW's musicals, I must say you are not missing much having not heard "Whistle Down the Wind" don't waste your time.  However, while "The Beautiful Game's" score is different than most ALW shows, the lyrics are not great.  Granted, I haven't seen either on stage, but I can't see much that can help the "Whistle Down the Wind" score, not even brilliant effects!!!

About ten minutes ago, while I was hanging clothes on the line, my neighbor called to me to call 911 because her husband was hurting her. Now there are cops everywhere.

Just thought you'd like to know.

And speaking of ALW, as I always seem to be doing, I just got in from a lovely walk, and during that walk, part of the Spanish recording of "El Fantasma de Opera" (or something like that) shuffled onto the iPod.  I don't believe that there has been a show that has had a crappy original cast CD that has been improved upon with further recordings (in English or other languages) of the score.  That's my thought for the day.

I am now in my Rhetorics classroom, which for some reason has a laptop computer at each seat. I am buckling down for a very long and boring hour and fifteen minutes.

Mom, are you talking about the neighbors I think you're talking about? How did that turn out?

DC Callie is adorable!

If I don't sign off now, I will get in trouble. Bye everyone!

An officer came to my door to take a statement, and they are all still out there.

I and The Lovely Wife are participating in the NOT ONE DAMN DIME protest today and our keeping our wallets zipped.  Did anyone else join in to protest the profligate spending of this inauguration today?  What is it?  Something like forty million?  Why can't someone just haul a bible into the oval office and swear him in and be done with it?  No expense at all.

BK, I haven't been to the OUTTAKE CAFE in years.

I had not seen LOST before, but at some point last night I looked up at the TV screen and there it was, so I gave it a chance.  Pretty sure it shall be my last.  The writing didn't do a whole heck of a lot for me, but what will keep me away is the acting.  Or lack thereof, rather.

Horseracing, I suppose...

The last time anyone did anything like that, LBJ was sworn in on an airplane.  I'd rather not go for the repeat.
