I have finally finished my paper (only one more to go this term!)

Now it's time for some serious supper and Survivor with the sisters.

That was quite the alliterative phrase, n'est-ce pas? :)

DR TCB, yes my trying to do a play of words with the word "rifle" obviously fell dead at your feet. It was a feeble joke, but it was the best I could do on 5 hours of sleep.

Hi there, fellow DR's. Today was a nice, breezy half day at school. I watched The Lion King in Biology...it is REALLY sad when a classroom full of sophomores in high school still remember every word to every song and line in a Disney movie. I adore that movie...the music is just SO gorgeous.

On Turkey Day, I won't eat stuffing. I don't have a real reason WHY, I think it might be the way it looks. Whatever it is, I'm not disgusted by it, but I have no desire to eat it.

Good vibes Down Under to Colin: Hope you feel better! ~~~~~

I'd like to play...Belle in Beauty and the Beast, or Eponine in Les Miz. Really, I'd like to play ANYTHING. But those would be fun.

Cookies: A cookie from Mrs. Fields with any combination of the following: White chocolate chips, macadamia nuts, or peanut butter. Yummmm. I also love Oatmeal cookies that my dad makes, fresh out of the oven. *drool*

Emily, your approach is still a little rusty. It's more like, "Craig, darling, you're wonderful, you're handsome, you're sexy, you're everything a girl could want in a man. In a word, you're perfect. Would you be my husband?"

Add doe-like eyes and a bit of breathlessness, and you're set.

But you're definitely improving. ;).

I've been away--what's this about a HHW gathering in Portland?

That's right, JMK, and you are hosting the event.

Seriously, I brought up the idea of a get together for all Washington / Oregon Kimlets(that was all, Mr. Barnum) for early spring, with Portland being the most central spot.  So far, all positive responses.

And the offer indeed brought JMK back in out of the woods or wherever he has been hiding and/or lurking. Good move TCB.

Ummm....Sarah?

What, exactly, was the teacher doing while the rest of the Biology class was watching "The Lion King"?

I knew that.

Maybe that should be my DR/BK question of the day:  Who are your favorite fictional doctors?  Who are your favorite television doctors?  Who are your favorite film doctors?

Mine:
film:

fiction:

Ah! Dr. No a nice Jewish boy from Montreal.

Ah! Ah! Doctor Zhivago a nice Christian boy from Alexandria

Tom from Oz:  Are you able to share with us the nature of Colin's tryst with the surgeon of your dreams?

And when will he be able to return to the bosom of his family?

TCB:  You can do it!  You can pass Ben and you can be a god before anyone can blink an eye!

And then, JRand would think twice about being so bossy!

Boy!  BK is awfully quiet today.  Things must really be cookin' in the workplace!

That or he's having an extended lunch somewhere!

Ron: He was playing online poker, while listening to the new Blink 182 CD on his headphones.

No, I'm serious. He was. They never make you do anything in school for the two days before a holiday break. I've seen 4 movies in school in the past 2 days. Nobody is going to work.

Umbilical and Groin hernias DR Ron. He should be home today. Colin will not be able to play golf this season or GARDEN or mow the Ponderosa. Be wary of any invitations to visit.

JRand:  Hah!

Sarah:  Oh, swell!  What a "great" teacher and role model!"  It could be worse, I guess.  He could teaching all of you to play poker.

Tom from Oz:  Ooooooh.  Makes me hurt just thinkin' about it.  And thanks for the warning.  I shall instead drop hints at an invite to France, I think.....

And I know what you were trying to read TCB? Even Gods have such thoughts it seems. I would never have gone that far for Ben Casey - especially only for sheet music. I preferred watching Medic and love the theme music "Blue Star".

My goodness, a veritable plethora of topics around here today!

Turkey day side dishes:  The only ones I'm not too fond of are cranberry jelly, cranberry relish, cranberry whatever else you may have at Thanksgiving dinner.  Not a hatred of them, just not something I choose to eat.  I prefer to have my cranberries in juice form.

Cookies:  Love 'em.  Can't get enough of 'em.  Any of 'em.  To choose a favorite, I'd have to go with Oatmeal Scotchies.

Roles I'd like to play:  Always tops on my list is Tevye.  Got to do it in high school, and also understudied it in summer stock a couple years back.  The beauty of that role is I can just keep doing it for 50 years!!!  I will play Edna Turnblad someday, just no two ways about it.  Frederik in A Little Night Music is another I'll mount my own production for someday if I have to.  Having played Henry Higgins in high school, I'd like to give Colonel Pickering a shot sometime.  Also Ben Franklin in 1776 somewhere down the road.  Oh, and Herbie in Gypsy.

Ron: Funny you should say that. I was taught how to play poker in Algebra I, 8th grade, 1st period. Maybe if he hadn't been gambling and had done a LITTLE more teaching, I wouldn't have been having as much trouble as I am.

I thought Chad Everett was about the sexiest thing on two legs and I never missed MEDICAL CENTER. Remember the controversial episode where Robert Reed underwent a sex change operation? He got an Emmy nomination for that.

Re: MSN four-ways

Oh, how I do miss MSN Messenger.  A few months ago my fershluganah Mac (gah! Wish I could afford a new computer!) stopped cooperating with MSN and I had to re-download it.  Well, when I went to download, I discovered that they now only offer MSN for Mac 9.2.2 and above.  Having Mac 9.1, I am sadly left in the cold, MSN-wise.

That being said, tevyehiggins can often be found on AOL IM. :)

Jen - who do you think is going to get the boot tonight?

the previews look so exciting!

I am not sure. I haven't read the spoilers for tonight in detail. So I'm going mostly on my own gut feelings.

But of course everything will depend on immunity (which always changes everything). Apparently there is something exciting that happens tonight in this contest.

Although I am most excited to see the "big lie".

I hope it's not Burton. I like him best right now. It would seem that Lil has a good alliance with him. I would think that either Crista or Sandra should be the next to go. But the women could form an alliance (although I really don't see Lil turning her back on Burton).

OR everyone could realize how strong Burton is. Darrah and Tijuana and Crista and Sandra don't really have any committment to Burton. Although I hope that the first scenario is the one that happens (i do not like sandra!!).

Survivor and Trista's wedding. What a fun reality tv nite~
