Maybe Panni should set up a Chooster Website! And really, this is my final word about that boring bird.

Is there some sort of agenda going on with these evil and constant posts?

The movie you wrote?
The return engagement of What If?
The stage version of The First Nudie Musical>
The documentary of Meltz and Ernest?
Your lastest book?

Yes, I remember Montheith and Rand.  The broke up, though.  Kelly Monteith (I think it's the same Monteith) went on, but I have never heard of what became of Rand.

Ron, the worst knick-knack is the awful one you receive as a present from a friend or relative who expects to see it displayed in a place of prominence everytime they visit.

As for knick-knacks... Ah, where to begin...

There's really none that I don't like, or would like to get rid of... Or I would have gotten rid of them by now, so...

Steve and I would collect monkeys whenever we would go shopping or on trips.  Small plush ones, Christmas ornaments, cast metal, ceramic, plastic, etc.  We didn't buy any monkey in sight.  It had to be special to us at the time for whatever reason(s).  We never bought that many, but it was a nice-sized collection.

When I was on my one and only bus and truck tour - 42 cities in 63 days!?!?!?! - I tried to buy a refrigerator magnet in each city we stopped in.  Thus, my refrigerator in Richmond has a nice display of various magnets from various cities across the US.  *We hit all but FIVE of the 50 states in that time!

The ones I do love are the pysanky eggs my college piano teacher would give to her studio each Easter.  Should would make them throughout the year, then place a basket on the desk in the studio for each of us to select one from.  I think two of them are now "casualties", but the rest of them still look very nice.  And it was also very neat feeling them get lighter in weight each year as the insides started to dry out and disintegrate.  -But, one did break about a year after I got it - P!U!

My question for anyone today (Jose, I know you're a keyboard player and not reeds or brass, but...) Does anyone around here know how to spell Ombishure (ambishure?) correctly?  I know what it means, but I don't know how to spell it and can't find it in the dictionary (EVEN UNDER THE WHACKIEST OF SPELLINGS).

DR Kerry - The correct spelling is:

embouchure

-Jose - who used to play Alto Sax for five years, and had to develop his embouchure.  And then gave up playing the Alto Sax since he could never get his embouchure to fully develop.  -I hated walking around with swollen lips after playing and practicing for a few hours.

-Oh, and just remember, the word comes from the French... Just keep in mind the phrase, "Fermez la bouche!"

DR Kerry - And if you can't remember how to spell "embouchure", you can just use the "cool" term: chops.

DR Michael Shayne - Just remember for all things Paul Haber, you can go to:

http://www.paulhaber.com

And there's an e-mail link there too!

-Although, after checking his resume, I noticed that he has yet to add What If? to his LA Theatrical credits.  Hmm...  Maybe I will e-mail him myself!

elmore, I see no "evil and constant posts", I have stuck to my word and have not mentioned a certain "thingie" since I said I would not.

But if it is so popular and beloved, why not set up its own website, so everyone can indulge their fetish for it to their heart's content and not usurp Bruce's site with it?

Is there an agenda?  Of course!  If this site degenerates into such boring flatulent banalities, I'll be forced to fold up my tent and slip silently away across the sands.  "Oh, put it back, the way it was!  Oh, put it back the way it was!" (a Li'l Abner reference).

And I agree with Ron!  If the "pros" can to express their adoration of unmentionable, why are the "cons" somehow considered "mean-spirited" and "evil" for expressing their disdain?  'Twould be a shame if the outspokenness and bristling wit of this site got muzzled and we all had to agree about the niceness of everything and hold hands and sing kumbaya. How bland would that be?

"Never apologize, mister, it's a sign of weakness."  -John Wayne, SHE WORE A YELLOW RIBBON.

Ron & Charles just didn't get the joke....

"Can't we all just get along?" :D

Yes...I can say with total clarity that I got the joke.  I can state  that awakening to a world in which trains collide in Glendale, killing people, and learning of a helicopter crash that killed 31 Marines, plus an explosion in Baghdad killing other military, PLUS hearing the elected one "regret" the loss of life...AGAIN...just didn't lend itself to my finding anything remotely funny about Kimlets believing the world to be a better place because another photo got posted here of that rooster.

It's not the photo that set me off...it was the comments about it.  I couldn't care less about the photo.

I guess that makes me EVIL.  So be it.  I was SO mean to dare write a word about how I feel while everyone else was being so touchy feely about what THEY felt.

How dare I and Shame on me.  I'm a terrible monstrous person.  Off with my head.

and for that DR how is Paul Haber doing?

I saw the composer of the movie I acted in and asked him if the film had been finished.  Apparently, it hasn't.

Horror of Party Beach is with its producer - what he's doing is not known to me, although I'm sure I'll find out at some point.

Nothing new with Nudie or Meltz and Ernest

Writing away - still in the beginning phases, but it seems to be working okay - I'm actually much further along than I could have imagined, considering I've been writing less than two weeks.

I'm waiting for Mr. Kevin Spirtas to set our work times.

I think Mr. Haber is doing fine, but don't know what he's up to.

What If is still in search of capital.  We have one person, we need more.

I saw a garden sized Buddah at Target this weekend...I was thinking about getting it for my garden..I liked it's aura but was afraid to touch it for fear of being kicked out of the store.
If the Buddah is garden sized (a vague descriptor, as I've seen gardens as small as a square yard and as large as an estate), wouldn't it crush all the plants if you put it in said garden?

The person in the photograph beyond the Buddah is Mr. Jerry Herman.

Now, enough about this other twaddle.  We'd all moved on.  Let the topic and the Peckerhead rest for the moment.  As Pogue said, no one was or is trying to be evil.  Everyone expressed their various opinions however they expressed them, no one is a villain and the world goes round.

Now, let's all feel my Buddah's aura, shall we?

And if you think the discourse here has been lively today, you should read what they're saying about Miss Stockard Channing and her DUI arrest on other boards.  Makes us look positively passive.

Dr Kerry,
I remember those "funny face" mugs. My cousins had some and I still see them at antique shows now and then.

And of course you can find anything on Ebay!
