CSI had an unusual episode tonight

spoilers - - - - - - - -

with the team carelessly losing the evidence and spending the rest of the hour backtracking to solve the case anyway. Greg's laconic Raymond Chandler-like narration of his segment was pretty hysterical, and George Eads had his t-shirt cut off him in a very provocative scene. Some nice eye candy for us fans tonight!

Of my trip?  No, I left my digital camera at home for DS Rob to use for a class project.  If I'd had it with me here's what I would have photographed:

The Chihuly glass sculptures that are all over the Franklin Park Conservatory (where my seminars were Tuesday and Wednesday)

The exquisite orchid plant in the Conservatory's entrance

The Longaberger Main Office building that's designed to look just like one of the baskets

Ginny, if you like Chihuly glass art, you should visit the Pacific Northwest.  Dale is a Tacoma native son, and the Tacoma Glass Museum was built here in Tacoma because of his influence.  You will find his glass sculptures all over the area.

And WITHOUT A TRACE had a sober story of an unhappy teenaged figure skater who goes missing while dealing with some personal problems.

I meant to mention that on CSI tonight, Veronica Cartwright played the corpse. Usually, a celebrity with that kind of name recognition isn't hired to play the corpse, but there were so many flashbacks used in the telling of the tale that she actually had one of the biggest roles in the show this week.

When I think about HHW, it isn't the moments or the memories that come to mind first.  As others have already said, it is the wonderful family of people who care so much and share so much at this site.  I have made a lot of life-long friends here, even though I haven't met all of them them face to face, yet.  I think the key to the heart of this site is BK himself.  If someone asked me if I knew anyone in, say, New York, or Florida, or California, or Australia I would very truthfully have to say, yes.

WILL & GRACE had one of its latter day best episodes that mixed poignancy with humor as Will dealt with the aftermath of his father's funeral. Lots of guest stars this week as the show winds doiwn its eighth year. Looks like they're trying to get the WILL & GRACE family of guest actors who have had recurring roles during the series' run to have a concluding episode for themselves.

TCB

My mom had the same surgery last September and the hyp replacement is totally made of titanium!

Is your surgeon considering using such for you!

http://www.totaljoints.info/orthopaedic_metal_alloys.htm

Oui, François, my current hip it titanium, and I assume from what the surgeon said; that they will be replacing it with the same material.  Thanks for the website.  I am considering asking the surgeon if I can have the old parts that he removes.  I am visualizing a modern sculpture of some kind.

Off to bed now. I'm hoping for more than the three hours I got last night.  :)

Good night, everyone!

Back from the dialogue mix - we finished it, so tomorrow the editor continues letterboxing the show, and on Saturday our intention is to wrap it all up.

TCB,

I truly hope all goes well for you and the surgery is a success.
