And the word of the day is: HABERDASHER!

Would that be a hat maker for a reindeer?

Would that be a hat maker for a reindeer?

That reminded me....I was trying to think up a way of using...

"haberdasher, haberdancer, haberprancer and habervixen..."

But the only thing I could come up with was a play on "Hav-A-Tampa"....and allowing merriment to ensue.

And then I had a back twinge and dropped it altogether.

That said, "How are you, TCB?"

The phone man is supposed to come and look at our static/interference problem.

Ah, I think I used to have that one on video.

So, I pop in the DVD and the very first shot (lightning outside a window) is missing.  Brilliant.  So, we have to go back in this evening and fix it.  Unbelievable.  I'm so over this video and I so want it to be finished.  Otherwise, all our fixes look great.  What doesn't look great is the anamorphic DVD - it's just not done correctly, and my DVD authoring guy says to do it properly would probably take two days, and frankly I'm just done and will live with the 4.3 letterboxed image (which people can zoom to fill widescreen TVs) - plus, I just don't know that we'd gain any quality doing anamorphic (properly done) because it's not shot in hi-def and the quality of the photography, while good, isn't perfect because of the stage lighting.  But, we're going to do a little test tonight, just to see.

Belated thanks from the Vixter who has finally been able to see all the lovely greetings sent to her  last Saturday.  She was thrilled and amazed to see her very psudonym in The Notes and to receive so many wishes from so many people all over the world .

I also showed her Der Brucer's pictorial essay in Patience and Tolerance of yesterday and she loved it.  Sjhe is also nepw heavily campaigning for a kitten , especially as she knows I have long wished fpr a Himalayan Kitten, the very type that seems to be in those pictures.

Thanks!  And thanks to everyone else, as always! :-*

Lunch actually went well.  I ordered two enchiladas with rice and beans.  I ate the beans and a little rice and one of the enchiladas.  I found that as I was eating, everything was okay, but a little while after I stopped, the nausea returned.  I guess I'm just going to have to ride it out and hope that it ends...AND SOON!  But at least eating doesn't seem to be a problem. ;)

Maybe you're pregnant?

More on the elusive Genesis Awards show. This just in:

"We have just received, at this late date, reports that the Genesis Awards
will air at different times on the west coast depending on where you live
and what cable company you have.  We know it will air at either 2:00pm or
5:00pm but you will have to check either your TV Guide Channel, Tivo or call
your cable company to find out for sure what time it will air for you.
Unfortunately you can't rely on the printed listings because they were
probably printed weeks ago and may have the wrong time listed."

Go figure!

I am finished with the work week, I have parked my car safely in its place, and I have consumed my Vicodin and muscle relaxers...... I am now fine.  Thanks for asking, Ron.

Exciting times here in OZ. I've been invited to a birthday party tomorrow (Sunday).. For a 12 year old.

The son of my nephew.  His given names are Thomas John.  I suspect it's worth a try for the inheritance.
