LOL! No the one that had toys (Japanese anime models, etc)...we had called it an adult toy store during the tour...and it scared Vixmom, until she realized it was just a toy store for grown-ups who collected toys.

We,, DR MBarnum, you have your toys and I have mine!

Anyone else have trouble getting AOL email for a few hours this morning?

I was on AOL from 9:40 until about 11:30 and didn't have a problem with anything: e-mail (getting and sending) or accessing any sites. Worked like a dream on my end.

I just found out that a man that I used to work with was murdered yesterday.  His body was discovered by his 15 year-old daughter.  He was only 46.

DR TCB, that's terrible!  I'm so sorry,

Lunch ran long due to a late start time and we walked around Circuit City browsing at DVDs and CDs. I also looked at some of the latest models of HDTVs they have.

Very pleasant early afternoon.

I only had time to finish RIVER OF NO RETURN this afternoon. I don't know if it's the different DVD player I'm using or what, but that DVD looked the best it's ever looked this time around.

AOL now has an "official" pop up saying they are "officially" having a problem with mail and that they're working on it.  Isn't affecting everyone, obviously, but it must be widespread for them to go the pop-up route.

I just started getting that pop-up, but I have to experience any problems with my e-mail.

Jose- what/where is that mini burger place in the west village that we hit last year on the eating and walking and eating tour?

The Burger Joint ($1 burgers, $2 fries)
190 Bleecker St.
212-254-2380
The Burger Joint Info

I saved my list of the walking tour. :)  Unfortunately they didn't have mini veggie burgers.

TCB - How horrible!

DR Elmore - My thoughts are with you.

I think the ghost of Alfred Hitchcock is shooting on my street. There are dozens of crows flying around above the street, making a very loud racket.

I've been thinking...

DR Jose is our official HHW NYC tour guide.

Maybe DR PennyO could become our official HHW country retreat guru.

DR PennyO, do you know about THIS book?  Or THESE people?  Or maybe you should read THIS book! ;D

I have real issues with the red hat ladies.  The whole point of the poem is that when I'm old I can do whatever I want. It's about individuality.....so what happens.....whole groups of women get red had hats  with purple...haven't they read the poem???? It's about not going along with the crowd, not doing what everyone else is doing....they totally ruined a fun poem
