Is that show any good?

I enjoy it.  However, I don't remember the early rounds being this dramatic and tough last season.  And the judges have been Harsh.  Sometimes too harsh.  My "favorite" comment so far: "Well, I'm here to destroy your dream."  OUCH!

*But there are some amazing dancers sticking in there, and I'm hoping that the extra attention to deal means that the dance combinations will be more interesting this season.

There's one more round of prelims tomorrow night, and then I believe the "live" competition starts next week.  Fox has been running the previous episode in the 8:00 hour and then then new one in the 9:00 hour.  Of course, they keep advertising it as a 2-hour special... Umm.. No.  Just check your local listings.

Sorry for that quasi-semi-rant...

There are arcane laws in all fields, all professions... Heck, there are even some in our own local, state and federal bylaws and regulations.

;)

Sorry; DR Jose. I didn't mean to be offensive with that word "arcane." I just meant that in GOldman's book (or whereever it was that I read this), it was made to seem impractical and somewhat absurd. I'm sure there are reasons for everything. I'm just ignorant about them.

Can you use it in a sentence?

The haboob caused quite a hubbub.

No worries...  I've just been looking at some of proposed bylaws that are coming up for vote...  Just been on my mind lately.

I'll leave that challenge to our wittiest denizens.  Can you use Hubbub and haboob in a sentence? or two sentences?

In the hurly burly life in the hubbub of life there was a haboob for two!

I know! I emailed them today to express my disapointment and that I would no longer be shopping there.

I agree and I will not be shopping there either...

I guess tomorrow I will watch OLD ACQUAINTANCE. Then possibly HUD.

I would watch an OLD ACQUAINTANCE tomorrow if I could, but unfortunately, he is still in Australia.

Back from editing.  My dinner plans fell through so I did In n Out Burger - disappointing not to have the good meal I wanted, although the two burgers were fine.

Anne Coulter.  Why do they give her the air time?  I remember when Bill Maher got kicked off ABC for saying something with more truth than many wanted to admit and certainly no where as incendiary.  Anne Coulter and Laura Ingraham are a pair...withered, pinched Republican bimbos whose brains are as anorexic as their bodies.  They must get up from the toilet seat and leave it cold.  That li'l cross around her neck is not going to save her from the bad, bad karma she is creating.
