Ran into a very fine young fellow at the Talkin' Broadway party (who was also part of an impromptu after-party dinner about nine people went to) who said that he'd seen my picture somewhere on the internet.  Since a couple of friends insist I look like Deepak Chopra, I suggested that maybe he'd seen Deepak  :)  , and I couldn't imagine where he might have seen my picture, but then it turned out he had seen the pictures that I had taken with vixmom, vixter and Jose that appeared on this here site.  What are the odds of that?  I guess not that unlikely, given that a good number of theater enthusiasts read this here site, but still I found it interesting.

Don't forget there are all those FJL groupies populating NYC.

Since I discovered that I have a Kevin Spirtas movie (Green Plaid Shirt), and since I really know nothing about this actor other then he has worked with BK recently, I think I will watch it tonight so I can be a bit more in the know!

I imagine if BK thinks he is talented he must be and I will soon find out for myself.

I can snoop around some soap sites for you to see if someone has a clip or two of him up.

We do have a few LAST STARFIGHTER groupies, but they wouldn't know me from Adam (or Deepak, for that matter.)  :)

I had a surprisingly good time at the Hollywood High production of Tommy, about which more later.

I came home, and since I was starving and all I'd eaten was my chicken caesar at about one-thirty, I made myself some scrambled eggs and onions - quite tasty.

I have been most errant and truant today.  My sister was supposed to go with her boyfriend to see the Pacific Northwest Ballet's matinee performance of Jewels, with choreography by George Balanchine.  Larry loves ballet and my sister wasn't feeling up to going, so I went (so he wouldn't have to waste a ticket).  Anyway, it was quite good.  Very well performed.  Great costumes (what little there was...especially for the men ;)).  But ballet doesn't really interest me.  I wasn't bored at all, but I wouldn't have chosen to go on my own.

Afterwards, Larry and I went to Dick's Drive-In.  Love their burgers! ;D

I then came home and promptly had to go to the store for my sister (she paid, so that was good :)).  Then I came home and watched a couple of movies that I got from Netflix.  One was called "Tintorera: Killer Shark," a kind of Mexican soft-core porn "Jaws" rip-off with slight homoerotic undertones where people speak both Spanish and English.  The other was "9 Songs" a British (very non-soft-core!) movie about two people and their relationship over the course of several months (I guess).  She's American and he's British and all they do during the entire movie is have sex...and I mean they really do it!

And now I'm here. :)

As for the Topic of the Day, I haven't seen any of the shows, so I can't predict.  Otherwise, I would just want the people I've heard of to win, so that's not really fair.
