That is my cowboy hat.  I am portraying Buffalo Bill in ANNIE GET YOUR GUN, and I am singing the opening version of "There's No Business like Show Business."

What an absolutely exhausting day this was.  I'm really all in.  But, as I said, all packages are on their way (we have ten copies left of the signed DVDs - spread the word), and I spent the entire latter part of the day dealing with this program called Constant Contact, which is an e-blast program so that you don't have to deal with the peculiarities of AOL or any other e program.  It gets through spam filters, the images show up beautifully - it took a while (my helper basically did it all) to figure out, and then we imported all the e-mail addresses from every e-mail account that I have.  Two categories - one just for Kritzerland News, and one for General News about me, me, and me.

I am sleepy.....long but good day at work, Boo got her stitches out and a clean bill of health, the cats made a little progress.  Callie actually sat and watched me play with Boo and didn't attack or even hiss.  Hoo and Ray... we aren't there yet, but we're getting there

So did you jog off all that thousand island dressing from yesterday? Two more laps down to Heavy Rotation and back.  You do the Rotation so you won't be Heavy (Heavy Rotation is the name of that crazy DVD store you are an habitue of, isn't it?).  Or you could jog down to Du-par's but the smell of pancakes might be too much and you could weaken.

DR Elmore, I'm really sorry you're going through all this with your family. But at least you are with your family right now.  That's a good thing

Lots of things watched tonight. I started with another episode of THE ANDY GRIFFITH SHOW, season 2. This was called "A Medal for Opie" in which Opie dreams of winning a track competition so he can get a medal. He ends up coming in last and the entire show revolves about lessons about sportsmanship. Again, one of the ones I always remember loving as a kid and as an adult.

I watched BIG BROTHER up until the revelation of the houseguests. I was SO disappointed on so many BB6 entrees that I turned it off and put on THAT'S ENTERTAIUNMENT III. That was REAL entertainment.

I jogged like a man insane this morning.  And I definitely didn't gain today.  And I had a lovelier than lovely luncheon at Casa Vega, where I was very good, chips-wise, and had two beef tacos and one cheese enchilada, but no beans or rice.  It was really yummilicious.

What is with the slow news days here at haineshisway.com?  There is a pattern here we need to break - last July was the slowest month we ever had, so let's stop this errant and truant bushwa and get off our complacent butt cheeks and get some postin' goin' on.

Tonight I'm watching a funky documentary called Twist.

At 9, I began my introduction to GREY'S ANATOMY by watching the pilot episode and the first regular episode. I can see why it was an instant hit last year. Lots of great characters and both personal and professional stories involving them. Very addictive. Looks like I've added another program to my rotation.

But I couldn't let the evening pass without watching at least one OFFICE episode, my favorite sitcom. This one was the one on anger management. The day began with everyone getting along, and by the end of the day, the entire office was at each other's throats.

The two rains we had today cooled things opff so much that I can have my windows open tonight and sleep with the attic fan circulating cool air through the house.

Supposed to get hot this weekend, but I'm going to really enjoy this night of cool temperatures. It's like an early Christmas present!

It's rather pathetic around these here parts right about now. I am afraid the bitch-slap machine is coming out of the closet, which is more than I can say.

A frenzy or three would be nice, but there's no one here to help.

My stage manager decided to be errant and truant tonight....without informing me or ANYONE, so it was a bit hectic at rehearsal.

Hmmmmmmmmmm.....

Today I went on a wild-goose chase. I was looking for new hinges for the cabinets. I want the self-closing ones in a satin nickel finish. I found out I need a 30 degree reverse bevel hinge. Guess what? They don't make 30 degree reverse bevel hinges in a satin nickel finish.

That's a different kind of Twist, DR LAURA.

The cabinets are coming along beautifully, I see.

Then I went to the office and began printing newsletters, which are now almost obsolete. It's been ten days since the fella came to repair the printer. The part is still on order with no delivery date. I am printing smudgy newsletters because we have waited too long already. I need to go back and add more paper to the machine soon. Hopefully by morning most of them will be done.

I did not know that!   Wonder if it will come up on a Final Jeopardy?  8)
