THE MISSING HOURS
« on: July 12, 2006, 12:12:46 AM »

Well, you've read the notes, the notes moved along like a gazelle with a hickey, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they're off trying to find The Missing Hours and, of course, The Hours are off trying to find The Missing Cows.

Late last night, I watched the "Deceit" video with the commentary and I must say that the comments were quite enjoyable.  When it was over, I really didn't feel like the entire show went by...it seemed to go so quickly.  That is really the way commentaries on DVDs should go. :) I remember when one of Barbra Streisand's movies was released on DVD last year or the year before and the big advertising was something like "special Barbra commentary on select scenes."  In other words, probably not even 10 minutes of Babs' commentary during the entire movie (whichever one it was). :P

And the word of the day is: PARADIDDLE!

What's a diddle?

I don't know, but he's got two of 'em.

(I know it's dumb, but at 1:30 a.m., PDT, what do you expect??)

Deceit
Finally arrived yesterday. Watched it twice.
I enjoyed it. I was able to figure out some of it while watching it, but not everything. It was fun to see BK acting again. A little taken aback when some 4 letter words were used (not a prude) I wasn't expecting them. Tammy acquitted herself quite well in her first "adult" role. Having seen her in various stages of her career it was nice to see her "grown up".
I always knew Matthew Ashford can act. (When I used to watch Days)Whe he is given good material to work with. He can do comedy and drama very well (He still manages to shines when he is stuck with bad story lines)

DR Cillaliz!!!!

I must be out in left field--I didn't realize that DR TPunk and Rodzinski were out in CA!!  Welcome home and I'm glad you had such a good time!   :)

DR Dakota Celt,  my very best vibes to both you and your father.

I haven't said it on the board but I guess maybe I should.  One of the reasons I haven't been able to post like I used to is because the doctor has told me that my Mother is terminal.  I've been trying to spend as much time with her as I can.

The other reason is because the routine mammogram I went for awhile back was not normal.  I've had to go for more tests and will be seeing a surgion next week about having a biopsy.  The “C” word hasn’t been brought into play  and I’m hoping that it is just a cyst or something else that’s benign.  So not to worry.   :)

I'm just doing the best I can and taking it day by day.  It's just that some days I manage it better then others.  So if I seem a little out of it, forgive me.

Anyway, enough of that.

We're going to be late, late, late!  We're almost to airport and the bus driver still hasn't gotten off the interstate--how does she think we're going to get back towards downtown if she won't turn around?
