I shall comment on Weird Woman in Ye Olde Notes.  Ya wild kid, ya.

You watch your phraseology, young man!

Goodnight, Edi, if I may call you that.

You can even call me Amy, since that's my name.

(Now, don't start singing more Frank Loesser!)

I mean, hey, it's Sioux City, renown destination for the international dilettante set! ;)

LOL, well we have a Conductor and Concert Mistress  from China, the composer of the premier piece was from China, the soloist is from Canada, 2 of the pieces were by a Russian.....they opened tonight with The Star Spangled Banner. That's something new. It was kind of nice.

Well...

Even though it's only 12:30am here in NYC, I'm actually gonna get ready for bed.  -I am surprisingly tired at this normally early hour for me.  However, tomorrow will be a quite the jam-packed day - meetings and meals galore!  *And don't forget your umbrellas!  -So, I guess a good night's sleep would be a good thing.   So...

Goodnight.

I think every dentist, soda jerk and garbageman knew that song, and wasn't shy about singing it to me. I had a brief respite in the 70's between generations whne people forgot about the Loesser song, until Pure Prairie League came out with their song: "Amy (Whatcha Gonna Do)" and then it started all over again!

What a plethora of posts.  And I'll be hornswoggled if we didn't have us a fracas! It's good to have a fracas every now and then - I sort of enjoy it, don't you?

I am very sleepy. The concert seemed very long tonight. I enjoyed it, but it seemed long.   I must go to the office tomorrow so I'd better get some sleep Night.

I did get an email tonight from the Santa Fe Film Festival curator inviting us to show our film there. (It's always nice to get invited...then you don't have to pay an entry fee!)

Any Kimmlets in the Santa Fe area? The festival is in December...
