And I'm not used to being ignored by people I've known since they were sixteen (or fifteen).

You're most certainly welcome. I'd be interested in what you think of Paolo Conte---one of my faves!

Good Evening!

Greetings from Richmond!

The storms had died down a bit by the time I started my drive southward on I-95, but it did end up raining for my trip.  Thankfully, everyone seemed to be behaving, driving a couple miles below the speed limit.  Well, there was one idiot who kept weaving in and out trying to pass everyone, but he eventually slowed down when he realized the semi in front of him was not going to speed up.

In any case, I'm now at Steve's, and since we have to get up early tomorrow morning...

Well... Even though it is early (for me, at least), I'm going to begin to wind down and get ready for bed.  So...

Goodnight.

I'm going home now, and then I will watch the ABC Thursday night line up!  There are only a couple of shows on other networks that I'll tape, but otherwise, it looks like an ABC night tonight! :)

I watched another GREY'S ANATOMY episode from the boxed set. This was the one that introdfuced Chris O'Donnell as the vet caring for Derek and Meredith's dog.

How can we be at this number of postings?  The new notes are going up precisely at midnight, maybe even before, because I've got to get up really early.

I was totally charmed by UGLY BETTY, and I think this should be a real sleeper. She's completely engaging, and the fact that her wolfish boss finally realized what a jewel he had gives great promise for the run of the series.

Yep, it'll be an uphill battle for the two with so many conspiring against them, but the whole cast was interesting and engaging (for good or bad reasons).

Simply loved Betty's young nephew. Obviously a Q-I-T and delightfully so. Liked her father very much as well. And Vanessa Williams has room to grow from the caricature she enacted in this pilot.

All in all, a tremendous start for this delightful show.

GREY'S ANTOMY (on the network) had a lighter in some ways episode than the usual (though there certainly were serious moments). And yet, I teared up all the same at several junctures during the show. The show just does that to me.

Nice to see Diahann Carroll looking so beautiful, and RIchard Roundtree and Peter Paige made interesting guest stars as well.

CSI kept one mystery dangling at the end of the hour, but we did get Catherine's case solved in surprising fashion, and in a way that made it clear why this was a two part episode with last week's season premiere. Until the end, I really wasn't clear on why these cases were tied together at all.

What I liked about Craig Bierko on BOSTON LEGAL was that he wasn't a carbon copy of the other lawyers in the firm. Fizzy, flip, and fun: at least I thought he was. Sorry you and Keith didn't enjoy him, DR Jane.
