If I watch a DVD this afternoon, it will likely be CARS. I did not see this film in the theater, but I bought it "blind" when the DVD was released. Ordinarily, I don't like to buy things without seeing them ahead of time, but Pixar has never let me down yet, so I took a chance.

DR EDISAURSUS - I liked RUSHMORE too....love the soundtrack CD...but I didn't like LIFE AQUATIC...not sure it's an age thing.  Maybe if you haven't seen a lot of films and/or movies, you would think some of the new stuff is great....without realizing how much of it really derives from older (and better) films and movies.

Oh....yes Seth has a nice voice, too.

Don't despair....The Kritzer books are a Trilogy and there is much joy (and its counterpart) to come.....after Benjamin K....in KRITZERLAND and KRITZER TIME.

Sounds as if the reading went well.

DR ADRIANA PATTI's photo shows us that the Man quotient in BFPX is certainly very high on the thermometer!

TOBEY MAGUIRE IS DEAD

That headline gave me a shock until I read it more closely.  It really says:

TOBEY MAGUIRE IS A DAD

That's two different things....whew!

Yes, thanks for sharing pictures of the book signing with us. I enjoyed seeing them. I wish there were more. Really love to see gatherings of our forum members and friends of HHW.

Sunday greetings!

I had a lovely time hanging out with Ben's Ant yesterday.  We talked crafting and went through several back issues of Martha Stewart Living.  I'm very excited to have a craft buddy.

I know the Hebrew name is Sarah, after my late aunt, but foolishly, I was so thrilled that the Hebrew name was for my late aunt that I can't remember the young girl's English name.
LOL-This made me laugh.  Have you found out her name yet?  Sarah is a pretty.

I'm up, I'm up.

edisaurus, I don't find much that purports to be comedy funny these days.  I don't think it's an age think, I think it's a "funny" thing - people are somehow happy if they laugh twice in a movie, and/or they have senses of humor that are very easy to please.  Not so in days of old, when you really did have to get a laugh every few minutes in order to have a hit comedy.

Many of us have learned the hard way with long postings that have been lost - before you push "post" it is best to highlight the post and do a control C (or whatever your shortcut is to cut-and-paste) - then if you lose it, it's just a simple control V and it's back.

JRand-Good vibes for Kachina, the absolutely beautiful 20 year old cat.  Keith used to trim Bogie’s chest hairs so they wouldn’t grow that long.  I think they are lovely.  Is Kachina full Maine Coon or part?

So you had to share your initial shock! I’m not the one who read the news incorrectly. ;D

Elmore-I’m sorry you had to miss GODSPELL.

TPunk-Is your next project a doll house?

Bruce-Glad the book signing went well.  I guess the folks I passed the word along to couldn’t make it, probably working.

AdrianaPatti-Thanks for the photos.

Sherlock is entertaining himself on the deck, time for me to take advantage of the quiet time & exercise, get some work done & maybe even go for a walk.  I'm getting rather depressed & grumpy without my walks.

Hi Jane, my next project isn't a doll house, but we did pick out an assortment of holiday crafts to make.  Some wil serve as decorations, and others will be gifts.

Now I must go through my collection of cocktail dresses to find something to wear to a wedding next weekend.  Hopefully something still fits!
