Ended the afternoon with Anthony LaPaglia's annual Emmy submission episode for WITHOUT  TRACE, this year abducted and tortured while trying to find a missing con man. Boy, the make-up, acting, and sound effects certainly made his torture seem VERY realistic. Very disturbing to watch but a good episode with several big surprises.

Question for FJL

Is a Nun who provides masochistic fantasy fulfilment refered to as a dominiqueatrix?

Further TOTD:

I appreciate the Chaplin films more now than I did as a youngster. I did not see "A King In New YorK" until recently.

Going down a little earlier to clean the dining room. Had more mail than usual today since we didn't get delivery on Saturday, and there are some things I need to read through before settling in with tonight's BIG lineup on TV.

And one of them is mine!

Will there be announcements of the availability to pre-order the CDs on Playbill.com or other theater-related sites?

Tomovoz, thanks for the info yesterday. I was just curious about the song. There aren't that many songs that feature the "Tom" name, Tom Dooley, notwithstanding.

"Tom is on My Side".

We just got invited to submit to the Belfast film festival by a curator who was at the premiere in April. If they like it, that's our vacation for next year!

I'm going home (a Rocky Horror reference).  I'm getting (or have) a cold and I can't stay awake.  I'm not getting any work done, so I'm leaving.  I'm going to take a nap and should be rested enough for rehearsal tonight, which I can't miss unless I'm at death's door.  Hopefully, though, I won't get the rest of the cast sick, although one guy was sick last week, so maybe he got me sick and has already infected anyone else who's going to get infected. This reminds me of the "Catholic tastes" verse of "I Never Do Anything Twice" (a Seven Per-Cent Solution reference).

They won't have a prob.  Haven't heard from MusicGuy recently, but we'll all have a gathering post-performance that evening, but MusicGuy was also talking about doing a pre-matinee breakfast, which I'm also very up for.

Huzzah, and Amen, and L'Chaim Esteemed BK--

I indeed would love to host a HHW late morning breakfast on Saturday the 9th.  Would you suggest DuPar's in the valley?  Could they set up big tables for us?

We'll discuss more details soon......any H/Ks that would like to attend..... just drop me a message or email here, and let me know.  This is my Christmas present to HHW for all of the joy and fun I receive here.

Off to a meeting right now.

I agree completely with bk about CARS' length and meant to mention that when I was commenting on it last night. The predictable storyline and the overlength were my two criticisms of the film. But most of it was very entertaining.

How ironic that we both watched the same film on the same day, and my friend Penny and her boy friend also watched it yesterday unknown by me until I read her e-mail this morning! Small world!

And I suppose that the fact that CARS  was the most publicized new DVD release of last week, had nothing to do with it?
