Micahel S - Is "Heavy" in fact a new song for the film?  I seem to remember it from the show, although I'm not sure if it was on the OCR.  I can remember the hook very well, but not the whole song.

You are right Heavy was in the orignal show. I meant to say that Only the Beginning, the song before it was dropped according to the cd song list.

I will correct the error and made some additonal chnages as well.

Not much to report from the land of OZ. The birds have been fed - with mixed parrot seed (we buy it in 40k bags). The parrots prefer sunflower seeds.

I shall be E & T for much of the day as I am driving to the airport to collect my sister who has been on vacation (sort of) in sunny Queensland.

We've been watching the excellent (IMHO) 4 part documentary "The Age of Aids".(finishes next weekend).  Far more impact emotionally than the overblown and overwritten and much lauded "Angels In America".

The rainbow lorikeets have arrived here again. They're "seasonal" visitors only.  The familiar feathered freinds have already been feeding today.  The lorikeets are quite brave and are certainly not intimidated by the much larger Sulphur Crested Cockatoos that are usually at the head of the pecking order.

Sunday evening greetings!  I went to bed in a funk last night and woke up still there, but here's what has made me feel better:

1.  Baking blueberry muffins for DS Rob to take back to college
2.  Working outside putting the lighted garlands around the front porch railing
3.  Sprucing up the angel collection that has resided on the piano since last Christmas
4.  Shopping for some things that I needed for Christmas decorating - ordered 8 new weatherproof red velveteen bows for the porch and found purple candles for the Advent wreath and a wonderful ornament tree for some of my hanging angels

Kinda like the white-wing doves we get here in the summertime and take over the feeders. Only not as colorful.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one, I was tearing throught the storage closet trying to find my advent ring (it's a scultpture with four angels) and was getting very frustrated when I suddenly realized it's sitting in the spare bedroom side table , it never made it back into the closet last year!

In spite of having to work on Friday and Saturday, I managed to see 3 movies this weekend.

Friday- For Your Consideration: highly enjoyable, Catherine O'Hara was brilliant, good fun

Saturday- The Fountain: went knowing almost nothing at all about it, weird and odd and maybe a bit slow at times, I'm not really sure what it was all about, but I'm still pondering over it

Sunday- Stranger Than Fiction: great performances by Will Ferrell and Maggie Gyllenhall, kind of a Charlie Kauffman type storyline, I really liked it

I also visited a craft store this afternoon to pick up a few items.  I really wish there was a Michaels or AC Moore here in the city.  I probably could have saved a few bucks, not to mention had a much bigger selection to choose from.  I'm going to have to see if maybe a friend with a car can take me into New Jersey sometime for a craft run or perhaps I can just have my mother pick up a few items and ship them to me.

Ginny - I was in a funk today too. What got me out of it was
1. making cookie cutter cookies from the cookie sheets I bought at the grocery store - all rolled out and everything
2. the fact that little Boo (I've been calling her Sioux City Boo...it goes with Callie Sue (sung to the tune of Peggy Sue))
is only content if sitting out my lap purring.
3. Moving a bunch of stuff to the basement that has been sitting here since I moved in.
4. Finishing up a little more weather stripping
5. Plugging in my Christmas lights

I have checked out their site, it's just so hard to pick out exactly what I want.  I like to wander through the aisles and pick up what inspires me.  But that's certainly a good option for the stuff where I know exactly what I want.

I also have a george foreman grill which I love.  The one I'm researching is for my mom who recently wrecked hers but wanted to upgrade to the next larger size anyway.

Since they moved Grey's Anatomy and I stopped watching Desperate Housewives, Sunday night tv has lost its excitement.
