Happiest of Birthday's to my dear friend and fellow HHW'er...DR MICHAEL PATRICK BARNUM.

Everyone should read his interview with actor Tony Russel in the latest issue of VideoLog...it seemed strange but unusually calming to hold a paper magazine in my hand after reading MANY things only online.

Some very revealing moments....only one of which I will quote:

While lying in bed with an actress rehearsing a love scene - she said to Tony:  I have slept with eleven producers and I have starred in eleven movies.

I went to the lobby to get some coffee -- and it is sunny outside. So, that dilemna is solved!

So you're off to the beach, then?

Good morning, all!  I need to check the weather in NYC before I leave today: that will dtermine how much goes into the suitcase and what I wear.

I am essentially all packed now and raring to go.  My hostshave other commitments today, so I'd like to be out of their way ASAP.

Keep thise travel vibes coming, please!

Happy Birthday, Michael. I had so hoped to be able to wish it to you in person.  Bollywood songs the whole day through.  We can all go Bollywood Caroling!

Congratulations, Bruce on the whole thing.   Having this all actually come about is quite an amazing thing, and i am very happy for you and very proud of you.

Hello to DR Laura nd DRMusicGuy too.

Hello to the ever charming Mr. Kevin Spirtas.

I shall have pumperknickel toast,  think of Lon McAllister who I loved and wrote to every year , June Haver who MusicGuy flew with once and Marilyn Monroe who my aunt met.  Scudda hoo, Scudday hay.  Mule talk always gets me excited!

HI Ginny! Glad you are enjoying your days off. I am taking the week off between Christmas and New Years and can't wait.

I did sleep late this morning.  Not quite sure what I'm going to get done today.  I wanted to do Christmas cards, but I seem to have lost my address book. I hope I find it. It's probably with my wristwatch, which I still haven't found. Although in the past month since I had it last I haven't been late to one thing...amazing

Aren't the Golden Globe nominations announced soon?  In all it's been a pretty forgettable year in film for me.  If there were things I really loved...I've forgotten them.  I am looking forward to seeing Dreamgirls

I went to a party last night at Barbara Bosson's house - remember her from LA LAW and Hill Street Blues? The house is quite spectacular, and of course we sang! First caroling of the season. how nice that was. Her little grandson awoke from his nap and toddled around greeting the folks. And a delicious little white poodle made the rounds. I had a swell time. Ran into a woman with whom I had a "falling out" twenty years ago - we had been very close, but we haven't spoken since... by the end of the evening we had exchanged emails and phone numbers. And time rolls on...

Thank you for the pics, DR LAURA. I was pleased to hear that you didn't notice anything particularly amiss in the show. Of course Bruce will notice every miss.

Good morning!  I slept until ten-thirty.  Not as quite as lovely as it sounds, as I didn't get to sleep until three, but I feel pretty good.
