I guess it works for both DH's. I wish I had taken that advice earlier with H #1 (I can't award him a "D" unless it was the kind in the a-f rating system...)

Maybe you could refer to Greg as PEH (Present Ex Husband) ;D

Thanks for the posting the front page of the Indy Star today, DR RLP.

I don't read them much....they are now a Gannett and not a local paper, very little is written in or about the city - it's mostly filler.  And it's the only daily in the city.  They fired their Theatre Reviewer and no longer print theatre reviews....sometimes a schedule and sometimes a photo.  So there is NO large daily paper in town with Theatre coverage.

DR GINNY let me know what you think of the show!

George, I like the color of your living room walls. We're painting ours a similar color.

Thanks.  My sister picked out the colors...she loves to paint. :)

Move Over Darling has a great theme song, too, MR BK!

And I also like MIDNIGHT LACE!!!!  But there are so many red herrings and plot holes!

Didn't watch GREASE last night, probably won't watch anymore and certainly it would be my LAST very LAST choice to see if I was in NYC....but...

Did the young man whose girlfriend left him when he was chosen and she was not....get through to the top 12 or whatever it is?

I saw "Caprice" at our local movie palace in Charlottesville, VA and remember liking it very much.  In the summer they would repeat films that ran the previous year. The screenings were tailored for housewives and had giveaways from local merchants. It was called "Milady's Movie Matinee". I always loved it when my mom would take me to that! I also remember seeing  "Penelope" starring Natalie Wood and "Sweet November" starring Anthony Newley and Sandy Dennis. I think that one was my favorite. Sandy Dennis got to live with a different guy every month and "heal" him. That sounded like a GREAT arrangment to me! (Well, it was the '60's!) I wish they'd release that on DVD.

Not great movies, but hey, I was in Jr. High...what did I know?

Would she like an all-expense paid trip to Atlanta?

I'm so confused.

I have a friend who used to use the pick-up line "You look just like my 2nd wife".

"How many wives have you had?"

"Oh, just one..."  LOL!

I opted for Popeye's - I must say, I do find their fried chicken absolutely yummilicious.
Popeye's chicken may be yummilicious, but der B and I have decided to stop going to the local branch.  For one thing, the sides are absurdly expensive for what you get.  For another, the manager of the local branch is just plain nasty to her employees.   >:(

Good evening!

I'm back from meeting my friends' new baby.   A very cute kid, and very mellow.  He just seems to be so laid back even at five and a half months. Again, very cute.

We discovered last night that 2 different people have posted our entire "Internationale" film on YouTube. They each did this independently because the reel breaks are in different places. (And of course not anywhere logical!)

I am really P.O.'ed because we struggled for several years to make this and have never made a dime in profit from it. And the comments are congratulating one of the posters, "anticonsumer" for another great film.  I think "anticonsumer" should be renamed "antifilmmaker". Over 400 people have watched the whole film, and I would imagine a few of them might actually have bought the DVD.

I can't even post a comment even though I'm registered...YouTube must KNOW I want to complain. Argh.

Isn't there copyright infringement issues involved, that would prevent it from being shown on You Tube?

This has been a day with wonderful moments and bad news.  We mixed more than half of the Act Two ANNIE GET YOUR GUN orchestration and I had a wonderful time at APAP 2007, where I saw several short acts, including the following:
  1. David Friedman and friends
  2. Zina and Marcy
  3. Stephen Schwartz with Debbie Gravitte, Liz Callaway & Scott Coulter
  4. Kevin Spirtas
  5. Emily Skinner representing her and Alice
  6. Ken Page
  7. Lee Lessac, Brian Austin Green and Johnny Rodgers
It was all quite wonderful, and it was nice to see several good friends onstage and in the audience.

Now for the bad news: my dad's chemo did not occur today because of the test results for last week's procedure.  The fluid showed lots of tumors in his lungs and they've advised my brother to look into hospice care along with the information that he may have around six months of life.  We are all dealing with it, but I cannot tell you every word I type tears me apart.
