When vibes won't work!
We've discovered in this time of severe water shortage that we have a fractured and thus leaking water pipe under the concrete! The water that is evident could be from any where along the main water pipes - most of them are underneath the concrete slab upon which the house is built. (Houses are not buit that way now!).
Vibes may increase the side of the fracture! We are only turning water on at the mains for a short while of a morning and relying on containers etc for most of the day. It's a holiday weekend and it's difficult enough to find a plumber any way!
Send $$$$ not vibes. I'm pleased we have already had our holiday in North America!
Dare I ask - do the sewage lines also run through the slab?

I suspect the landlord will try and place the blame on the weight of the CD/DVD/record collection.. The landlord is DP Colin.

Short answer is "No".

Well, gather up the slackers and do an impromtu encore of Cannibal, with them the "guests" of honor.

I think they actually plan to remount the show next season. They had to turn away so many people that they could do it without any trouble of finding an audience again.

For me Boehm's Germanic accent was too evident.

I've been very good thus far and have had no sweets today. I did eat at the Cheesecake Factory and had a small caesar (the size of a house) and their yummilicous fafalle with roasted garlic and chicken.

I think I may have remembered where they have excellent biscuits and gravy for breakfast - a little jernt on Pico called Rae's Coffee Shop - I'll have to drive down there and see.

Once again, arriving at The Cheesecake Factory at four enables you to get right in without a wait. It's about the only time of day or night when that is possible.

I've only been to The Cheesecake Factory once...in Seattle, when I went to see the tour production of
Wicked
. I can't remember what I had, but I think I liked it.

That's good - re-running sewage lines is a much bigger hassle (read $$$) than water lines.
Have you ever given consideration the jacking up the house and setting it on a raised foundation?

I have never had less than a great meal at the Cheesecake Factory. The portions are absurdly huge. I love the Spicy Cashew Chicken, the farfalle, their appetizer taquitos and sweet tamale corncakes, and their chicken with biscuits and gravy. Their caesar is mouth-watering, and I never have room for their excellent desserts.

Jacking up a 25 sq house would be a problem. Fortunately all the plumbing is on one side. The floor of the house is actually the concrete slab! The foundation/floor is solid concrete. If necessary, existing water pipes will be bypassed along the outside wall!

Perhaps I'll just hold the notes for a while. They're feeling unloved, anyway, so I'll just hold them and make them feel wanted.

On Saturday, I have to go to work for a few hours and then my mom will bring over a new dinette set, which is my birthday present.

My sister gave me a kitchen table from Ikea and I really like it, so I don't know why my mom felt the need to get me a new table.

What I really needed were new chairs. My sister gave me my chairs also but they're older than the table, so they're not holding up too well (one was a little cracked before she gave it to me).
