In a few minutes, I'm going to meet a friend at the yogurt store to hear all about her week at How-to-Open-a-Bookstore camp.

Good Afternoon!

Greetings from the bright (lots of windows) and spare (just a few tables, chairs and a piano) Chelsea Studios.

The press event for All About Us went well this morning, and now I'm sitting - along with DR Joy, in fact -in the midst of 42nd Street auditions.  We're on a little break right now.

I am afraid there is no way I'm ever again going to be able to catch up to all the postings on this forum.

I do hope folks won't mind.

Step 1 - First you buy some books.

Oakland is gorgeous today.  A bit on the "cold" side, though.

Well, if you're worrying about last night's late night posting frenzy, it actually goes by pretty quick.  At least it did for me.

DR GINNY to answer your question from yesterday....regulations require one convenience for every 50 people in a public area - the workplace regulations are bit more stringent requiring ONE unit for each TEN workers.

Hello to James Southall, aka Animalmagnetism.

We meet on yet ANOTHER forum, James!

This one's a tad different from the others, though!

DR Jose - please say HI to DR Joy and tell her that we miss her!

Speaking of bright and spare (and books), I've been reading Peter Walsh's It's All Too Much.

Reading it....or participating in it?

I have so much thrown at me from some many different quarters that it's becoming increasingly difficult to take it all in.

It all boils down to time management...and the more there is, the more time it takes.

I'll muddle through somehow.

DR DtM - and others who might be interested - I slogged through Act One of THE SKIN OF OUR TEETH, but I didn't give up.

Act Two is coming along nicely and I like it much better....so time will tell.  I don't think Blair Brown is the perfect Sabina.....

LOL, DR JRand!  I keep trying to provide reality checks for her - we shall see.

Thanks, too, for the other info.

Bye for now.

Taking a break from cleaning my office. Am making progress. This job is long overdue.

Had lunch and a nourishing piece of chocolate.

In a few minutes I'll resume work.

DR MISS KAREN this seems to be what DR derBRUCER was talking about....you can almost see it...

a frame of some kind of floating material and net (you can almost see it) on the bottom...although this has some kind of frame work as well.

By jove, JRand, I think you've got it.  The ones hanging on the wall behind the sailors...I will go to that site and see if I can download this photo -- if not, I may be back to ask you to see if you can email me an attachment of this photo.  THANKS!

Actually, you were correct.  It was quite easy to zip right through the last five or six pages of last night.

So many new avatars!
...DER BRUCER, yes, you look quite, quite fetching in your Pensive Thinker pose. But, now really, is it quite FAIR to other H/Ks to put up that avatar when you are unavailable after all? Hummm....

I attract cats, too, DR Edi.  They always seem to know who the allergic person is in a gathering!

They're quite psychic that way!

Oh, but we do -- our gratuitous posts are so important and so vital .. how can you function without every last morsel of information we impart?

The fact that you don't live to read every one of my posts is... well, hurtful...where is my tissue box... :'(...look what've you done, you made DR Karen cry...
