Choreography by John Cranko, I believe, and music by Sir Arthur Sullivan, arranged by Charles Mackerras, based on the Bab Ballads of WS Gilbert.  I love this ballet!!!!

MR BK - I think swift action is a good idea.  It is done....so move ahead.

I am with DR DAKOTACELT....by-laws can be suspended for a specified length of time, but cannot be suspended indefinitely.  I would think that a suspension of the by-laws for years really nullifies the constitution/charter of the organization.

I cringe at the thought of a bored derBrucer... I can only imagine what sort of mischief he would wrought upon us all.

I'm back from dinner with my dear friend Bruce Pomach of the Rodgers & Hammerstein Organization.  We dished, we laughed, all during a lovely meal at 63rd & Ninth Avenue, across from Lincoln Center.  The food was god, the portions generous.

BK, they have macaroni and cheese on the menu.  Also Bruce loved The Brain and praised your writing. He likes your way with the ins and outs of a tune.

I think I may watch the first two episodes of THE TUDORS on Showtime On Demand now.  It's either that or a new DVD of Mozart's Nozze di Figaro.  Decisions, decisions . . .

I'm pleased that the reference was not lost DR Elmore.  I saw the ballet when I was about 10.   It's a favourite of mine too.
