Zach is a mutt from the shelter...from what I can tell, part lab, part Newfoundland.  He came completely trained, with hand signals, no less!?  Can't understand why anyone would have invested in that training and then left him in a shelter...but I lucked out!  He's a very good boy.

Glad he has a very good home then... It is sad to see a very well trained dog abandoned. ..My landlord does nto permit dogs but I do miss them. Love animals

Yes, the place I am currently renting advertised as "NO PETS," but I charmed the landlord into accepting me with my dog.  I think a lot of landlords are flexible that way, but I understand why they can be wary.

I saw a very interesting production of the Scottish play where the set consisted of a huge sheet.  That's it.  They used stage magic to configure the sheet into all of the required settings, creating shapes and whole environments with, I guess, wires and various mechanisms.  It was very interesting!  But I remember nothing about the acting.  Oops!
