Second ...  after MUCH thought on the TOD, I offer:

After Mr Stanley Donen & Mr Bob Fosse worked on THE PAJAMA GAME, the immediately made CHICAGO starring Miss Marilyn Monroe as Roxie and Miss Doris Day as Velma.  With Miss Betty Hutton as Mama Morton and Dean Martin as Billy Flynn.

And since it was Warner Bros, it was followed a couple of years later by a television series of the same name with:

Miss Connie Stevens as Roxie, Miss Dorothy Provine as Velma, Miss Marguerita Sierra as Mama Morton, and Edd Byrnes as Billy Flynn.

Well, I need to catch up on things here at the apartment, and then it's off to play for some potential Baby June's and Baby Louise's for a few hours... Then dinner with a friend...  So...

DR DakotaCelt, having just gone through the past year with what you're facing, I can offer two bits of advice that helped me out through the constant anguish the heart sends out: keep a sense of humor and let your father know that when his body wants to leave this plane, you wish him godspeed. Don't let anyone tie him down with please to stay or signs of misdirection without him.  Once he's gone, mourn for him and yourself.

I concur with DR ELMORE'S advice.

My best to you, DR DAKOTA CELT.

Today they install the new bathtub. Then I'll need to contact a drywall man and a tile man.

NEWSMAXWaiting to get in-line:

Native Americans
Eskimos
Gays and Lesbians
Serbo-Croatian Fisherman
Quaker conscientous objectors

With a little luck, the Film could be longer than the war!

der Brucer

DerBrucer, I agree with you on the Native Americans. Many served the US admirably and some in very dangerous roles as code talkers. Also we cannot forget Asian-Americans and women who served.

I had the weirdest dream last night...

At the last minute, I decided to book a flight to LA.  I arrived at some sort of large hangar/warehouse, where they were having a HHW gathering.  There were large displays of books and CDs everywhere, and many H/Ks were there.  There was this important dance rehearsal going on...I can't remember if bk was leading the rehearsal, or just participating, but he was definitely dancing!

That is all...

Now that would have been interesting...

Lost another long post! Damn.

The Butler County Sheriff needs an IA investigation: I'm bummed today about the third recent suicide in the jail: a 19-year-old man. The other apparent suicides were another 19-year-old and a man in his 40s I believe.  From my experience with the Butler county Sheriff in the 1970s, one personal and one involving the Sheriff's participation in riots at Miami University following a Vietnam rally, they're all corrupt pigs.  I hope the tables are turned over in investigating this rush of "suicides."

DR SINGDAW of course the Dream0matic 2000 tells us that HHW appeals to you as a site of great CD/FILM information and that we are all being taught the dance of enjoyment by MR BK.

Oh, I'd forgotten about the Dream-O-Matic.

JRAND, pls explain about the different models. I seem to recall Model #6000. Is this an upgrade or perhaps the 6000 is misbehaving today along with DR ELMORE'S posts?

Last night's "Brothers and Sisters":

Potential SPOILAGE

DR Matth wrote:

"Good show, but I didn't quite get Kevin's hot and cold behavior with Chad."

Last week, Chad's agent told Kevin that his client would be coming out BECAUSE of Kevin, and Kevin's reaction seemed clear to me:  He did not envision a "relationshp" with this man.  He wanted to date him openly, yes.  He didn't want to have to be secretive, no.  But he totally did not want anything to do with being "saddled" with the responsibility for Chad's decision because it implied a commitment to this one person.

Last night, he continued his waffling and -- asswipe -- ways.  Kevin is not really a very nice person....at least, not as he is being written.  He's just another one of those gay characters who wants a boyfriend and sex but NONE OF THE RESPONSIBILITIES that a commitment might imply.

Good for Chad for having the guts to come out, and great for Chad for telling Kevin they have no future.  And to hell with Kevin. He does not deserve a decent relationship on this show until he faces his own hypocrisies.
