DR DakotaCelt, having just gone through the past year with what you're facing, I can offer two bits of advice that helped me out through the constant anguish the heart sends out: keep a sense of humor and let your father know that when his body wants to leave this plane, you wish him godspeed. Don't let anyone tie him down with please to stay or signs of misdirection without him.  Once he's gone, mourn for him and yourself.

Thank you Elmore, your advice is appreciated. My dad and I had a long chat this weekend. He is still snarky and that is good. Still ticked at the Twins... that is good!

Thank you each of you very much for the vibes, the next few weeks will be very trying.  So If i accidently get grumpy and growly please bear with me.

Though I do have to say, I have to applaud my dad for telling Aunt Vulture off.

BK - Yes, the package was sitting there waiting to be asked about.  The person at the mail place said they should have left a slip, but the only slip was not leaving a slip.

So that's done.

And you're now off the hook for what, another 5 years?

Saw the GRINDHOUSE flick on Friday, which did not really do that great at the box office. A good reason is because it is arse-numbingly long.

If you like crazy violence and some oddball humor, the film can be enjoyable. The Tarantino-directed half bogged down for me with a lot of pseudo-hip jibber jabber. And I sure wish QT would give up appearing in movies as he is just godawful. But Kurt Russell is excellent.

Oh, I'd forgotten about the Dream-O-Matic.

JRAND, pls explain about the different models. I seem to recall Model #6000. Is this an upgrade or perhaps the 6000 is misbehaving today along with DR ELMORE'S posts?

Oh....the Model 6000 is the one I use at work....the Model 2000 is the laptop version I have at home.  8)

You should be glad your slip wasn't showing.  8)

DakotCelt-Peace to you and your family, and it’s nice to hear you spent the weekend with your father.

Thank you... We watched baseball and basketball... Needless to say he was not happy with the Twins or the T-Wolves.

I think any of the last three Star Wars movies would have been better if made pre-CGI.

I agree about the Star Wars movies Rodz...

Micheal Collins would have been better in the past. The storyline was not badly written but there were some casting issues.

Loving the CREATURE soundtrack CD!!!

The cues are so funny....I watched the movie a couple of weeks ago in anticipation!!!

My favorite cues:  Cooking With John, main/end titles, and of course the songs.  The mysterious cues work very well, and I wish I had had them last summer to use for DEATH BY CHOCOLATE....

And we have karaoke versions of FACE and BILLS!!!!

The BACHELOR BILLS song certainly works even better because of the charm of the two characters/performers....

MR BK is that you directing Mr Crawford on that last track?  I must say replacing his MAX was a terrible mistake....as you write in your liner notes...
