Does one wear medals in the order they were earned, by color, by honor, or just put them on and hope for some kind of symmetry?

There is an offical ranking for service medals which dictates their placement - this is the Military- nothing is arbitrary!

Good Afternoon!

That was one crowded train - and train ride up to Westport!

But I'm here!

And I ended up taking a nice walk a little while ago with some cast members.  To Maggie Moo's. :)

I gave it one more viewing last night before deleting it from Tivo.  Act III is wonderful!  And enough cannot be said about Sada Thompson!

I want to re-read the play, but I was shocked to find that my copy of Wilder plays is gone from my library.  I need to make a trip to Barnes and Nobel this afternoon to pick up a copy.

How did TSoOT end up on your TiVo?  Was it recently rebroadcast on one of the cable channels?

Here is the Ranking of Decorations; they are worn in ranking order as seen by the viewer, from left to right, top to bottom.

...I like Sada Thompson too, however...  Remind me to tell you about one her more memorable moments during one of her Williamstown Theatre Festival engagements.  ;)

And, of course, with all this errant and truant behavior today, we're missing out on ever so much fun playing off the symphonic aspects of the notes.

Well, play with this:

LOL-Yes I do.  He is very handsome & the suite fits him very nicely.

DR elmore - Just in case you missed it...

I'll already be up in Westport Tuesday morning for the 10:30am(?!?!?!?) school matinee, so if you and DR FJL want to do dinner up here beforehand, I shall leave that to your discretion/decision.

-But I'll go ahead and take the train back with you that night.

-And DR singdaw may be our chauffeur from the theatre to the train station.  Purchase your off-peak return trip ticket ahead of time.

Well, I  am suffering from temporary amensia.  I got the Swedish Chef into Sandra's BD post as an attachment, but I will be damned darned if I can remember how to post a photo.

Since today is World Pet Photo Posting Day [WPPPD] (my invention), I wanted  to post a new photo of Angel, and I believe the first-ever photo of Tsar Nicholas.

Can anyone help?

I’m going for a walk!!!  It has been a frustrating morning with calls back & forth between the hospital, the doctor & Keith’s brother.

DM of DH Keith is progressing at an extremely slow rate.  Super speedy recovery vibes & full return of cognitive abilities would be greatly appreciated.

Damn!  I wish I had realized that NBC was showing episodes of HEROES last night, I could have tried to catch up on the ones I missed.  Since, I did catch the one at 10:00 p.m., I guess I know where they left off for tomorrow's episode.

Extras call for Spiderman IV?

April 18: In this photo released by the Sports&News photo service, planes perform a 'reconnaissance flight' over Botafuogo Bay in front of the Christ statue on Corcovado hill in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Some of the world's top racing pilots are in Brazil preparing for the second leg of the Red Bull Air Race World Series.

Rather than wasting bullets, megalomaniacs prefer to kill their enemies with complicated devices incorporating fuses, pulleys, deadly gases, lasers and man-eating sharks. ;D

LEST WE FORGET

April 21: Members of the National Socialist Movement, based in Minneapolis, march down Main Street to the South Carolina Statehouse in Columbia, S.C.

der Brucer

Actually, I take some comfort in the fact that the Socialist movement can never seem to muster more than a dozen fanatical members to march in one of their parades.  Thank God, for that!
