HUGE thanks to all of the DRs for such nice travel vibes.  I appreciate them, and also believe in the power of positive thought.

We had a dumpster delivered today to dump the remains of the barn the cinderblocks, etc. My DH was concerned that the weight would break the driveway. I hoped we would get a small drive off dumpster truck.

My DH was right and now the driveway is cracked, a magnolia limb destroyed--and who knows that else. Argh.

Even though I don't have a favorite exploitation film (I love so many) here's a goodie I need to add to my collection.

I'm sure Stanley Kubrick must have seen this before making EYES WIDE SHUT. To me, SIN IN THE SUBURBS is better than the Kubrick's, which seemed insufferably pretentious.

I don't know if I like this laptop very much. Windows Vista constantly downloads updates and then reboots whether I want it to or not!!! I was in the midst of catching up on the posts and wham, everything went dark.

And I have no idea how long the battery remains charged in this thing. I guess I will learn.

How much inquiry did you make into this laptop before buying it?  Please don't tell me it came in a Crackerjax box or you got it with trading stamps!

"SHARK", the CBS legal show with James Woods has had some great HDTV shots of LA - recently some neat footage of the Disney Concert Hall (and also lots of "local" color footage).
