Now he wants you to come visit!

I would be honored!  If I ever get to that part of the country, I will certainly give him a call.

Yesterday, DH Richard went to Columbus to attend the consecration of the Rev. Thomas E. Breidenthal as the IX Bishop of Southern Ohio (Episcopal).  Part of the ceremony involved comingling of waters from the rivers of Southern Ohio into a font.  Here are the rivers that were represented:

Licking
Olentangy
Great Miami
Muskingum
Hocking
Scioto
Ohio

We should introduce him to my gray cat, Gris-Gris.

Gris-Gris is a beauty!

DR Ginny, that is really cool. I wonder whose idea that was?  Very fitting!

I'm sleepy.  I've entered all the fixes save for about six that I need to run by my muse Margaret.

I don't know why I'm quite so full as I am.  Between Hisaka and me, we ate half of each dish, which means I ate half of a half, MUCH less than I normally consume there.  We had orange chicken, green beans, cold sesame noodles, pan fried noodles with chicken, shrimp, and pork.

I am my own frenzy.  I am trying to decide what to watch.  One of my DVDRs or something else that's been sitting here like so much fish waiting for me to catch up?

I have a couple of imports here, including Lonely Are The Brave with Kirk Douglas and Phantom Lady, with Franchot Tone.

In a similar vein:

After Sacco and Vazetti were executed, they were cremated. Members of the Catholic church tried to pursuade the family not to do this, as the church disapproved of the practice. The familiy didn't feel the need to act on their wishes ("Where was the Catholic church when we needed you!"etc.).

After the cremation, their ashes were combined and mingled together. Even though they barely knew each other before they were arrested, the case linked their names forever.

Some of the ashes were sent to Sacco's home in Puglia, and some were sent to Vanzetti's home in Torremaggiore. The rest are archived in Boston.

You are making me salivate, remembering the yummilicious dinner we had there a few weeks ago. All our good Chinese restaurants around here seem to have disappeared. :'(

Hello, fellow Dear Readers. I had to drop everything yesterday when my DH's plans changed and I am now in Morro Bay in California. We are supposed to meet some family here.

DR Sandra, would you check the flowers in the yard (front and back) and water, if necessary, please. And water the plants by the iron gate in the driveway. Thanks.

I will have to catch up on posts later.
