BK - As for the "booth incident".... Booths at the Pig'n'Whistle are usually "reserved" for celebrities.  And/or people wearing a minimum of $2000 worth of clothes and/or jewelry.  So... Next time, wear sunglasses.  They'll think you're "important".  ;)

BONES had an OK episode tonight dealing with a body found that was glowing in the dark. There were really only three suspects, so guessing the murderer wasn't too hard.

CROSSING JORDAN had one plot borrowed from D.O.A., a man wanders into the morgue having been poisoned and is dying. He wants to see his long missing daughter before he dies.

The other story involved a magician team who killed one another simultaneously. OK little puzzle there.

Love is in the air around the Boston M.E.'s office with one couple pairing off and two potential ones mating before the show ends its season next week.

LOST featured the Ben backstory, fascinating as always. And a pretty big surprise at the end of the show, not that I wasn't expecting it for some time.

As for the IDOL results, no surprise there at all.

Even though it cost me a little over a roll of quarters, there's something to be said about getting six load of laundry done - washed, dried and folded - in just about two hours, rather than the eight it would have taken me to get it all done here at the apartment.

That's what I've been tell myself every two weeks for the last 30 years!

Yesterday, the voters in our community defeated an operating levy for the local school district.  Today, a couple hundred high school students marched in protest from the high school to the administrative offices and demanded a meeting with the superintendent.

Students cutting class for protests is a sure way to ensure that the next school tax issue fails!

For DR Michael S:

The World's Full of Girls
Music & Lyrics by Stephen Sondheim
cut from Follies

Ben:
The world's full of girls
Who are waiting to be kissed,
Waiting to be kissed,
Oops!  There's one I missed!

The world's full of girls
And I'm making up a list
'Cause I'm gonna kiss 'em
Each and ev'ry one.

And when,
And when I've kissed 'em all
And satisfied my yen,
What then?
What then?
I guess I'm gonna have to kiss 'em over again.

The world's full of girls
Who are virginal and pink,
Younger than you think,
How about a drink?

The world's full of girls
And before I start to sink,
I am gonna kiss 'em,
Each and ev'ry one!

Phyllis:
The world's full of boys
Who are waiting to be kissed,
Waiting to be kissed,
Well, if you insist...

The world's full of boys
And I hardly can resist,
So I'm gonna kiss 'em
Each and ev'ry one.

And when,
And when I've kissed 'em all
And satisfied my yen.

Ben:
What then?
Phyllis:
What then?

I guess I'm gonna
Have to kiss 'em over again.

The world's full of boys,
Ev'ry color, shape, and kind,
Raunchy and refined.
Look at that behind.

The world's full of boys,
And I'm sure you wouldn't mind
If I go and sleep with
Each and ev'ry one.

Thanks for the lyrics. The above are the lyrics that are part of the Operette track from Stavisky. The French lyrics have nothing to do with the English lyrics as far as I can tell.  Phyllis first two sections are where the French lyrics come in.

Interesting lyrics.

I'm just popping in for a minute..... thought I would say goodnight to the studlies and lovelies, and the Grande Mensch and the G.P.

I don't really know why, but I've had kind of a meloncholia hanging over me all evening.  And not a shoulder or a po-po in sight, unfortunately.

But, I guess I should remember Scarlett, and the "tomorrow is another...." philosophy.

This reminded me on a television show on the CBC set in an English Pub. The theme song lyrics went something like this.

Come in/To the Pig and Whistle/Come in/And have a laugh
(that's all I can remember)

It ran for 10 years 1967-1977 (I looked this up)

I think the Nudie Musical is my finest hour as an actor.  I think The Young Lawyers could disappear just fine.
