I really have no idea.  I wasn't happy with the work I did in San Diego,  When it was done a couple of years later in Florida, they had to bring someone else in since i was tied up with Houston Grand Opera.

That must have been one strong rope.  ;D

DR Ginny, tell John I send my best wishes and to get back on his meds!

Thank you, DR Elmore.  Their mother is quite perturbed with him.

I'd rather be dead than face a pissed-off Harriet Palmer!  I'm sure that's what John is praying for at the moment.

If you are referring to the recent movie, I thought the whole thing was pretty grim

Good Evening!

Well...  I certainly was "entertained" today during today's auditions.  Alas, they were so entertaining, that they ran over by two hours.  Whew!

-One more round to go next week.

But it was a good day of auditions.  A very good day.

In other news...

RE: "Traveler" (again)

Does anyone - DR MattH, perhaps - know if this series is "open-ended" or a limited run?  There were certainly a lot of questions dropped in last night's episodes, but I there is definitely an end in sight somewhere down the line.

I'm also wondering if the show will remain "centered" in New York City, or if a road trip is in store.

What has CBS decided to do about "Jericho"?

Nothing definite has yet been decided, but it's not looking hopeful as of today. There was no spike in ratings for the season finale on Wednesday which is usually a bad sign.

I'll keep you posted as I find out stuff.

No, he's referring to the 1938 movie with Norma Shearer and Tyrone Power.

I'm not going to write too much since i'm assuming most people here who watch it have not watched it yet.

But i am still sort of in shock.

Crazy ending.

Crazy part after ending.

It seemed like it would have/should have ended before the last scene.  But i'm happy that they didn't leave it as cliffhanger in that way.

But the real ending was actually probably better.

Geez, so much happened in the last 5 minutes that i am trying to absorb it all.

I began my evening watching episode #3 of PLANET EARTH. This one was called "Fresh Water," and again the high def video photography was simply breathtaking. Dealing with the rivers and lakes of the world and the biological life therein, it was just one jaw-dropping scene after another. Seeing those crocodiles bring down a wildebeast was really astonishing.

I wonder if i am the only one who feels that they should not be allowed to wait till the end of may to decide if long running shows are renewed.

I think that the actors should know these things before they finish the season. And i think the writers should have the opportunity to write an ending to the show.

I'm trying to think which shows (that i watch) am i still wondering about.

Most of the shows are popular so i don't have to worry (ugly betty, lost, heroes ...).

I guess Ghost Whisperer is one i have not heard confirmed (although i think it does well in the ratings). Of course there is veronica mars (which is one of my favorites).

I agree about GHOST WHISPERER, DR Jennifer. As we neared the end, I thought about how CBS was going to carry the show on with this new direction. By the time it was over, it seems to me it will be an even richer and more poignant set of main characters next season.

I guess Gabriel is joining the show as a regular?

GHOST WHISPERER is safe, but CLOSE TO HOME is probably not going to make it.

The last I read, SHARK is probably going to be moved to Tuesday nights at 10.

DR Jennifer, the networks have to see what the pilots for new shows look like before they can ascertain how many slots they're going to have open for the next season. Those pilots often aren't finished until late April-early May. That's why they often wait until the last minute to make decisions.

For instance, I read that ABC's comedy pilots were mostly pretty awful this year, so they're going to have to bring back some not very popular shows like NOTES FROM THE UNDERBELLY and maybe even THE KNIGHTS OF PROSPERITY to plug holes in the schedule for next season.

SCRUBS had a irritating episode for the most part (except for the always brilliant janitor character). JD and Elliott - please don't go down that road again!

LAW & ORDER had a very political episode about conditions in V.A. hospitals which I found fascinating. McCoy in court made some inarguable points which should make some folks in charge hang their heads in shame.

Just had a brithday dinner with Maureen and Bill, as well as Joe Kolinski and his wife Allison.  Maureen and Joe were (small world!) Bk's co-stars in the NYMF Last Starfighter readings last year.

Thus officially endeth my birthday celebrations for 2007.

My first Bollywood movie of the weekend is APRAHD (1973) which seems to be one part GRAND PRIX and one part ON HER MAJESTY'S SECRET SERVICE. On the whole it is a LOT of fun!
