'24' has had a very up and down season, but the last two hours were certainly high octane stuff, and the ending was very touching indeed.

HEROES season finale really was wonderful and an ending I definitely did not see coming. Loved it and will miss the show during these next three months.

You could always e-mail him to see if he would like to correspond.

So, I am sitting in the living room working on a powerpoint for this weekend with the tv on....

... so some guy is so inept that he has to have his family pick a girlfriend for him?

If I were the girl, I'd be running away!

I can't believe I've been watching the Bachelor for weeks.  I think it's just because it's right after DWS, but still.  i'm really curious about who he's picking...

When I went to the Kidney Bowl on Saturday, (and a very plush and luruious bowling alley) they had flyers up announcing that they were auditioning for a future run of The Bachelor. My friend/client, who is very pregant, thought it would be funny if she applied. I egged her on, but then she chickened out. I would have loved to have seen their response if she had gone through with it!

TCB - Interesting.  the DVD box and the DVD credit Kurt H simply as "composer."  That is fine, since it means he scored the film; obviously, Kurt did a lot more work in terms of actual hours spent than Skip did and was entitled to THAT credit.  It's unfortunate people don't know Skip wrote the song, unless they read the closing credits, but that's apparently the usual way of doing things, and the procedure on the DVD was fine.

BUT BUT BUT:  the website and the imdb have since then been adjusted to change Kurt H's credit to "original music."  That's technically not true, since the original music and lyrics for the song "You Can't Surprise Me" are by Skip Kennon.

Thanks for the alert!

I have e-mailed Mr. Bakalor about the upload folder purge we need - that was yesterday.  I guess I'll have to e-mail him again.

Meanwhile, the VERY long movie (according to the box 143 minutes) turned out to run exactly 86 minutes.  I gotta tell you.

I have my semi-annual dental check-up and cleaning tomorrow morning, so I need to head down and get some sleep. The appointment is at 8 a.m. I like to get it over with and have the rest of the day not to worry about it.

Good night!

They did get some comments at talkbacks about the lack of at least a kiss between the two leads.

And what was the reason, did they say?

I also enjoyed this movie, by the way!

There was a logical reason for the guys in the film not kissing, but I heard it a long time ago.  When the movie screened at the Brooklyn Academy of Music cinemas, I seem to remember it having been explained very well, anyway, at least to the satisfaction of the audience there.  I'll try to ask when I see Joe.
