Heading down now to begin evening viewing.

I'm going to start with last night's BOSTON LEGAL season finale. Then, it'll be on to SUPERMAN on Blu-ray.

Sony has come out with some firmware upgrades (1.80) for the PS3 which I will be installing tonight before I start SUPERMAN. I'll be interested to see the differences, if any.

I've been trolling (yes, TROLLING) the Amazon.com "used/new" listings for things I believe are just TOO damned expensive "new."

And I've found "new" copies of things at better than half-price by doing it.

I've no problem with "used" as long as the packaging is intact...and as long as the seller has a 98% or better rating.

Well, well, well (that's 3 - count 'em THREE - "wells")!

One week and one day AFTER "Pigskin Parade's" release -- and three weeks AFTER I pre-ordered it with guaranteed two-day delivery -- I FINALLY received the DVD in today's UPS shipment.

After several back-and-forth e-mails, the only "excuse" I could get out of Amazon was a whine about all their video sources not being as efficient as others.

FOX?  The same distributors who ensured they had "Can-Can" and 'On the Riviera"?  On time?  And in my delivery last Monday, a day EARLY?

Heaven forfend!

It doesn't do one bit of good trying to be rational with them...they simply will not own up to any logical excuse as to why they dropped the ball.

My lunch:  A smallish bowl of chicken noodle soup.  And a largish spinach salad with chopped (hardboiled) egg and slivers of turkey breast.

One of my most favorite cereals growing up was Lucky Charms[/color]...I remember when the only marshmallows that they had were the pink hearts, yellow moons, orange stars and green clovers.  Then they got the blue diamonds and then purple horseshoes and I think I stopped buying it after they added the red balloons.

I called the dishwasher installers to reschedule. She said they could come out next Tuesday. I sputtered and told her that the dishwasher is pulled out and is sitting out in my small kitchen. She said they could come Saturday, so that's a little better.

Oh my God...... I just had the inspired thought of locking both DR Edi and DR FJL into a room, giving them melody sheets, and having them combine their warped  twisted  creative minds to produce lyrics.  The mind boggles !!

I still sing FJL's  "Hooray for Music Guy !" around the house.......honored is what I am, honored I tell you!

My least favorite cereal, but one my mother and brother liked, was Grape Nuts. I used to think it was made from grape seeds. Uck.

I liked Raisin Bran when I was a kid, and Ootfray-Oopslay.

Now I like flax and soy granola. I guess I'm officially old.

I may have gotten a box once in a great while since then, but I stopped getting them regularly before the pots of gold were introduced.
