I'm making a CDR (two) of two DATS-worth of Movie and TV Themes taken from what was then my huge collection of 45s - most of this stuff has never been available any other way.

That sounds interesting...

I recently came across a website that had old theme songs and telly themes from the 70s and 80s

DR Danise may not make a trip to New York anytime soon if she reads this, she may end up in London

Good grief!  Are you required to be gay to play that role?

Husky?  Oh you are kind.

Is that Tennessee Ernie Ford that will be directing THE FANTASTICKS?

Nice mail call today:

"Planet Earth" -- HD DVD
"Hidalgo" -- CD soundtrack
"Firefly" -- standard DVD of complete series.

I got me some TV watching to do.

I just love FIREFLY.

Well, I'm off...as usual. ;)

Tonight at 9:30 pm, TAO (the theater group that's putting on the "Shrew" that I'm in) is doing a one night only return performance of "Vampire Lesbians of Sodom" by Charles Busch and I've got a ticket to see it!  They did the show last year, but I didn't get to see it then.  Tonight, they're putting it on as a benefit for Capital City Pride.  I don't doubt that it'll be a blast! ;D

I must have seen the original Off-Broadway run of "Vampire Lesbians of Sodom" three or four times. I knew Charles Busch slightly and one of the cast members.  What a funny show.  "Psycho Beach Party" was better, though, and I saw that numerous times as well.

I was listening to Guy Mitchell singing "Ninety-Nine Years" yesterday.
(I suspect most DRs won't know the singer let alone the song).

"She wears red feathers and a 'huli-huli' skirt..."

"There's a pawnshop on a corner in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania..."

Correction to an earlier post:

The Deep Discount 20% off sale ends tomorrow, June 16th.

(I was misinformed earlier.  I've corrected the post that had the codes you can use).

And I just thought I'd say a hearty goodnight to the Grande Mensch himself, and DR Sandra, and DR deBrucer......

I went to a social thing tonight, and the special guest was Leslie Jordan.  Leslie did about an hour of solo standup, and I'm sure that there are chairs that will need to be power-cleaned tomorrow...... it was "pee yourself" funny for much of the time.  And he was also very nice to say hello to, at the end of the evening.
