And I think I'll log off and fall over now ..... the "free Wi-Fi" connection here at my room is sketchy at best.... it drops out and comes back on with great regularity.

To quote our wise "sage of the keyboards"....

"Hmmmmmm" ?

However...... after the show tonight we met up with the dashingingly handsome and talented DR Jason, and the 3 of us enjoyed 2 outrageously good desserts.  I'll let dear DR Jose fill in the details.   Oy !!  Such good!!

bk - As for sublets... I'd say you'd have a better time finding something closer to your arrival.  I know that's sort of scary to do, but with the way the contract cycles work - at least for actors - most of them don't know yet what they're doing this fall, or where they're doing it.  The fall audition cycle starts up in about two weeks, so by mid- to the end of July, more sublets should be popping up.  Of course, since some of these sublets will be from people who are going out to the middle of nowhere to make next to nothing, I'm not sure if those accommodations would work for you, but... ya' never know.

Well, there were actually three desserts:

1) Chocolate Coconut Banana Cream Pie
2) Double Chocolate Pudding Pie (with Candied Hazelnuts)
3) John Rodriguez - our waiter.  ;)  -And he has an audition for Jersey Boys tomorrow/today too!  -I left my card for him.  ;D

And I have to say, The Brooklyn Diner is now on my "recommended" list.  Well, I know our waiter is at least.  :P

DR elmore - and MusicGuy too - Don't forget your umbrellas tomorrow.  Alas, it could get stormy tomorrow.  Along with the heat and humidity.

Some of you might remember seeing pictures of my coffee table, which has a very heavy glass top perched on the ears of rabbits. I have a lot of magazines on it to keep it weighed down.

It didn't work tonight---when we came home the floor was almost covered with magazines, mail, paperwork, etc. They had knocked the glass off the rabbit ears. Everyone looked rather guilty. I'm just glad it didn't land on a kitty!

Sounds like the kids invited their friends over to par-tay while mom and dad were gone -- damn teenagers, can't leave them home alone for a second --  :)

bk ~ Your tickets for Cabaret, oh Cabaret, oh Cabaret, are on the 4th row, center.  You'd better not tease up your blonde locks into some puffy hairdo or wear that big pimp hat -- or start talking on your cell phone during the performance -- cause I'm in the row right behind you and I will tap you on the shoulder ... and/or or report you to the management ... so you'd better be on your best theatre patron behavior...

Speaking of Cabaret, I'd better skedaddle. Gotta pack and get some shut-eye so I can leave for LA first thing in the morning.

I may pass on the Nun attire, but I like the ruler idea for a good rap on the back of the head ...

I've actually been thinking about talking to Private Partz - but I'm sure it will be difficult monetarily and he'll be back in school, too.

The SAVED character you describe was Harper Sims, played by Michael McMillian - who does look a bit like Ryan.

Ryan was also in Medium, playing Allison's bother, I believe.

Oh, spoo---I told you I was tired! I was talking about Ryan in WANTED in the paragraph above and then called it SAVED (another TNT show that took the place of WANTED the following season.) because I always get the one word names of these two shows confused even though they're nothing alike.

It's a shame we don't have a Daddy Warbucks to underwrite these kids...
