Am back from lunch and seeing the movie ONCE with two girls from work.

All I can say is that I did not have the same reaction to the movie as either of the gals I went with did, nor those of the HHWers who saw it and loved it.

Hmmm...I thought I'd gotten on the right track for the trivia question, but JRand and JMK have me wondering.

I’m surprised, according to http://moneycentral.msn.com/investor/calcs/n_expect/main.asp I will live to be 94.  Considering my family history I expected a much lower figure, like the next couple of years. This is good news, Keith & I will go very close to each other-how romantic.

That one says I will live to be 102!

The bottom-feeders are out in full force today here at the public library.  You wouldn't believe what I saw some guy doing out in the park next to our building  :o

DR Ginny, I just finished watching Garrison Keeler on Book TV spealing at the ALA conference.  Were you there? I think it was June 26. It was funny to read your post after hearing him speak about the secular temple aka the library

I have some writing to do, so I'm going to take care of that now and then get to bed. I can already feel my eyes getting a bit heavy.

Good night!

The microwave and coffeemaker are different manufacturers, but they are both red.  Gotta love it

DS Betsy is mock-angry (anyway I'm hoping it's mock) that the mortality indicators only give her up to 4 years of peace after I shuffle off this mortal coil.  :)

JMK, I also prefer the Discovery Channel when I get a chance to watch it.

Too bad about the stores closing

A little spray paint and the shredder can be red, too!

Good Evening!

Well... Just one more week before the "new" ACL cast makes their official debut.  I don't really detect a "senior slump" as it were, but we certainly did have some "fun" shows today. :)  The Joys of Live Theatre!

DR Jennifer - I think it was DR Jennifer - Checking the level of your propane is actually quite easy to do.  Since the propane gas is in liquid form in the tank, it's very cold.  So, to check the level in the tank just pour a cup of hot water down one side of the tank.  After a few seconds, just place your hands on the tank, and when you feel the metal go from warm to cool/cold, that's where the level is.  There are even temp strips that you can affix to the side of your tank that "colorize" the level.

3D, I checked today for the treat you mentioned yesterday and I did not see them, sorry.

However, I did note that they added some more goodies from the British Isles and OZ and lo and behold my little eye spotted Violet Crumble... I am about to bite into it. I was intrigued after the discussion last night.

Well, I believe I shall just head in a bit early and stop by the Apple Store on my way to my matinee tomorrow.  Yeah, that's the ticket.  But the thought of heading to the Apple Store now was a semi-attractive option.
