Laura, how far is St. George, UT from Tucson? DBF said is 100 miles and I am disagreeing with him.

I have no idea, DR DakotaCelt, but I know that you win.

I think DR Ginny was asking about Craig's list relative to housing options for NYC in September/October.

oooohhh!

I suppose I should have deduced that as there has been talk of trying to find accommodations in NYC...

But I only ever used it or thought of it about work-related topics so it just never occurred to me that that wasn't what it was about!

Tell him that it's 120 miles just from Tucson to Phoenix, and then you have to keep going.

The local barnes and Noble is having a costume party this evening to celebrate the release of the Harry Potter book.

DBF and I are going to go and listen to Irish music later tonight.
They're even having a "party" at Super G.

I'm not exactly sure what kind of party, whether anyone will be in costume or anything.

I'm pretty sure there won't be any Irish music.

We're talking Harry Potter here.

DR Sandra should get DR Laura a nice bottle of butterbeer.

My mother doesn't know from butterbeer. And any way, we'd have to go to Hogsmeade to get it.

One of my co-workers made chocolate frogs and gave each of us a cute gift bag containing a pair of them.  She even gave me one for my DH and one for my DS.

ROCK HUNTER :)

Well I will be the Vice President in Charge of Operations, but you will be the titular head of the Corporation.

Jayne Mansfield's response can be imagined or remembered.  I am still laughing for than 40 years after seeing it for the first time.

That was a mighty fine moment, indeed!

Has anyone here had any experiences with Craig's List?  Good?  Bad?  Ugly?

DR Ginny, I have used Craigs list to buy and sell tickets, and once to sell furniture.  All times, the transaction went very smoothly.  But I have always used a simultaneous exchange of cash and merchandise.

I'm very excited about the web design.  TIm is a nice guy, he did a big preentation and tried to sell be on using his services even though I had already told him I wanted to hire him.   I was going to tell him to stop, but he'd obviously been working on the presentation, he had a mock up of a website and everything. It was fun.

So this weekend I'm putting together what I want on the site and getting some links to lawyers' sites that I like so he can get an idea about it.   Should be fun.
