Holly's accent is Texan...I hardly qualify that as a typical southern accent.

And I don't ALWAYS shake my fists in the air around DR Jose...only when we come across delicious baked goods and chocolate treats...

And speaking of the Virgin Megastore... Is it time for another Alejandro page dance?  ;)

She was born and raised in Conyers, outside of Atlanta. It was a pretty rural area back then...but not any more!

And also on Playbill.com via Variety, that the not-yet-announced, not-really-planned revival of Pal Joey that was supposedly set for next spring has been postponed. ???

Claro que si. Nos encontrabamos en Cozumel quando Jose y yo mismo estabamos en vacacciones. El se llama Alejandro Maldonado y es un maestro de yoga. Que guapo, no?  :P

DR FJL - I don't recall there being a popover in there.  However, there were, IIRC, a Cinnamon Butter Brioche, a Chocolate Chip Brioche, a "Bombolocini" (a baked raspberry jelly donut), and a Blueberry Muffin.  Do you like popovers?  ;)

Ah, I thought the Blueberry Muffin was a popover.  It was so light and airy that I thought it was actually something healthy.

The Cinnamon Butter Brioche seemed so sophisticated somehow.

It was from Levain.  Of course it was healthy!  Blueberries have anti-oxidants, ya' know.  And butter is dairy.  And flour is from wheat, a grain.  It's all good for you.

"He puts the phist in sophisticated" - That's the tag line for something, or it should be.

Sophisticated and good.  But that could just be all the butter in the brioche.  -I actually keep meaning to buy a loaf of their brioche to make french toast.  But that would be pretty darn tasty!

Flour?  You better not tell Miss Karen, or she'll want a dozen of them.

I did a nice long telephone interview with the cute as a button 1960s actress Erin O'Donnell, star of the motion pictures THE SAINTLY SINNERS, INCIDENT IN AN ALLEY, and HELL'S BLOODY DEVILS.

As a youngster she co-starred on the Ed Wynn Show under the name Jacklyn O'Donnell.
