I, TUNES

Well, you've read the notes, the notes were tuneful and, in other words, flew you to the moon, and now it is time for you to post until the  I, Cows to come home.

Good morning, all! The laundry is in the washers, and I have to think about what I am taking to DC.

I have a ticket to a Fringe show at 5, but I may pass it up depending on the weather, which seems quite windy and chilly at the moment.  I may also make a run to the NYPL for a bit of research on special collections around the country.  It all depends on the weather.

It's supposed to be cool and rainy all day and then later in the week we should have rain and temperatures in the 80s.

None of the reviews particularly liked Grease (surprise, surprise) though they didn't draw their knives. I was hoping to see it through TKTS (I refuse to pay even $72.50) but it may not be up there. Oh, well. If I miss it, I can live with myself. I only want to see it so I can know what I'm talking about when I dismiss it  ;)

DP Colin is at this moment organising a group booking for a local production of "Blood Brothers".  BB and "The Producers" are the shows of choice for many non-professional companies  at the moment.  Dreary.

DP is NOT booking a ticket for me.

I can do without ever seeing another production of "Grease". For me the Film killed it!

I compiled a CD of Bossa Nova music for St Lukes Anglican Church today.
I'm not sure where that is leading!

Nothing like a great amateur production of Blood Brothers.

Or a nice bowl of gillies.

No, but it sounds like it could be quite intriguing!

My contact at the church also requested Richard Harris's version of Jimmy Webb's "Didn't We".
Perhaps he left the cake out in the rain.

I hope someone manages to contact DtM today.

I shall be missing between Sept 3 - 10. I am going to visit my nephew in sunny Queensland.  I shall not be swimming with dolphins this time. Nearly two years have passed and the dolphins are still in therapy.
