Good morning, good day, how are you this beautiful day?  And no, I have no problems whatsoever with Miss Mayes - we're good pals and, if she weren't working and was right for this show, I'd use her in a second.

Glad to hear you're back safe and sound Larry and that your foraging in Maryland was successful.

And now the Annie E. Casey Foundation (also located in Maryland) is calling me.

I slept okay - terribly uncomfortable bed unless you're the mother in Barefoot In The Park.  Shaving was interesting - the tiniest sink I've ever seen, ten minutes to get hot water, and almost impossible to get your face down there for rinsing.  Should you turn around suddenly, you conceivably could fall into the toilet.

Are we STILL on page two?  Even having the notes up that early?

I just had a great idea: maybe BK can get Hasselhoff to do the benefit show!

You mean, you didn't hold off until 3:00 AM EST, out of deference to the left coast?   Wink

and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - it's their first day of rehearsals for MOOSICAL, the MUSICAL.

And here is a shot from their big OPENING NUMBER, "Udderly Glad to See You!":

Shower works okay - tiny, but okay.  Hair drying took a bit of figuring out - no power in the bathroom, so had to move the one and only mirror in the main room to where it was close to a power source.

Thursday morning greetings!  Upon arrival at work, I received approval to move to the cubicle being vacated by our Business Specialist when she ascends to the position of Assistant Manager of our department.  The move will get me off the "superhighway" at the open corner of our cube farm.  So let the culling begin!

I shall shortly be on my way to our first rehearsal - a group music rehearsal.  We have a couple of ensemble members missing today, so we decided to do our meet and greet and read-through tomorrow.

I think I'll leave in about twenty minutes, since it's only about eight blocks from here.

I'm a bit tired and I really can't sleep in until Sunday, and even then we have a production meeting at some point.  Then the next time I can sleep in is the following Sunday.

DR Michael S - Even I know that bk was not referring to Sally Mayes in his post last night regarding LACC.  However, I guess that means you won't be attending her next cabaret outing.  In Florida, at least.

As for pet stories... hmm...

We had hamsters and/or gerbils for a while when we lived in Seattle.  They would all eventually chew through their plastic milk carton "cage", and end up hiding somewhere in the basement.  And then they would die.

Then there was "Princess" the poodle.  A very troubled dog.  Barked at basically one.  And had a tendency to dig under the backyard fence and run off.  And bite one or two of the neighborhood children.  Undecided  Needless to say, she eventually went back to the pound where my mother found her.

I also now seem to recall another dog.  Something brown.  Huh

And, of course, the requisite tank of fish.  I liked the fish.

Well, I better get ready to head back down to Ripley-Grier for the final round of Alladin auditions.  And then tonight, I'll be sitting in the pit of Mary Poppins for the first (of many) times (I hope).

And let me just say that the gal in question is extremely talented and has, heretofore, been a lovely person, which makes this behavior really shocking to me.  She's off the Christmas card list.

And, of course, I am looking forward to hearing about Benjamin's first trip to NYC and the tour by Jose, Jason, and Cason. Does he know what he's in for?

Good morning.

I second DR LAURA's question: does BJ have ANY IDEA what he's in for?
