And despite François' comprehensive list, it did not include the DVO!

Back when AMC was kind of like TCM, I wrote a long letter to Bob Dorian (remember him?) after they aired Toast of New York and Come and Get It.  I listed all of Frances Farmer's films and who held the rights, etc., and urged him/them to air more of her work.  I got a back a very nicely typed auto-reply informing me that as soon as more of his films became available, Francis Farmer was sure to be seen on AMC.  I think that's when the lustre lost a little for me.   ;D

::)  Did you write them back?

I actually did, LOL.  It was a BK-esque rant of indignation and incredulity about their stupidity.

BING BAR meant something entirely different to Frances Farmer, of course, especially during the filming of Rhythm on the Range.   ;)

One of the local TV stations always gives them away at parades. When you see them coming you yell "Fling me a  Bing" and they do just that

Robert Osborne would never make that mistake! Plus, he seems like he knows everybody!

Our painter showed up today, prepped the back porch and painted the floor. I couldn't believe it. I thought it would be a week-long project but he was done and gone before we got there at 3:30. Wow!

So did AMC ever show any of Francis Farmer's movies, or is he lost in the mists of time?
