Well, you've read the notes, the notes were Brainy, and now it is time for you to post until the Brainy cows come home.

I wonder if I should bring my computer with me to the Acorn?  Perhaps there's a wireless signal there.

But I fear it would be distracting, where I need to be focused.

As I was typing before bk locked the thread, I next watched EAT MY DUST! It's a pretty dreadful film, not funny, not exciting, kind of a poor man's SMOKEY AND THE BANDIT. I can understand Ron Howard wanted to do this after playing all those wholesome teenagers in the 1970s on TV, but he's not very believable even as a semi-bad boy. Glad to have that behind me.

Tomorrow, I'll have to watch the two bonus features on the disc.

I ended my evening of viewing by rewatching the Valentine's Day episode of BROTHERS & SISTERS. It was Scotty's last appearance on season 1 (though it's rumored we may see him again this season), and Sally Field getting high with Margot Kidder was pretty funny.

I'm going to start packing up stuff this weekend to send home, so that I only have a small number of things in my carry-on suitcase.

I'm expecting the Criterion disc of THREEPENNY OPERA tomorrow, days after the street date but that's OK.

excellent vibes and xylophones to the cast and crew of BRAIN FROM PLANET X! I don't think you will need them, however...it sounds like you have a fantastic crew and we know the cast is stellar! It will be a great show BK!!!

I had a wonderful day celebrating Elmore's birthday by staying home sick and watching lots of motion pictures on my DVD machine...

I started out watching 2 of my favorite 1950s Universal-Internationl mystery thrillers STEP DOWN TO TERROR (starring my interviewee Colleen Miller, Charles Drake, and Rod Taylor)...and THE GLASS WEB (starring John Forsyth, Marcia Henderson, Ed. G. Robinson, and Kathleen Hughes).

After wards I popped in a western titled MONEY, WOMEN AND GUNS starring Jock Mahoney and my interviewee Jeffrey Stone...and just now I finished one of my all time favorite musicals, 1934s STAND UP AND CHEER!

A wonderful day, despite the scratchy throat, running nose, and cough...more of the same tomorrow...and I might even get some Bollywood movies into the mix!

I do remember some movie about a giant shrew or something. The creature was creepy looking and I vaguely recall having nightmares about it...
