It's less painful this morning, having rubbed it down with - believe it or not - Preparation H.   :o

However, in honor of opening night, the product is being re-named Preparation X for the day!

Good Morning All!  I need to go back and read earlier posts.  My obvious choice(s) for 50"s sci-fi would be "Queen of Outer Space" and "Forbidden Planet."  I would be remiss if I didn't include "The Blob."

I do remember some movie about a giant shrew or something. The creature was creepy looking and I vaguely recall having nightmares about it...

That was no shrew; that was my wife!  (A Henny Youngman -- and every other Borscht Belt comic) reference.

Elmore-

Are you ready for the BIG night?

Good Luck

Thank you, DR ArnoldBrockman!  I know I'm prepared, and I think the band is wonderful, as is the cast.  However, the entire band, because we're electronically heavy, is at the mercy of a sound crew unfamiliar with the score.  It certainly affected the situation on every show last year at NYMF.  However, I am confident in a successful production.  I've not stopped believing in it since I fell in love with it last December.
