AN OPEN BRAIN
« on: September 20, 2007, 11:06:47 PM »

Well, you've read the notes, the notes were perfunctory, which is all I could muster, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they're all coming to New York to see The Brain.

That's what it felt like waiting the 9 months for the Brain Notes to arrive ... now I'll go read them ...

Yes, it was wonderful to FINALLY hear the expected glowing reports.

Quite a trial wading through the nervous gratuities of vixmom and DakotaCelt and Miss Karen, all demanding someone tell them what had happened/how it went.

;D

Seriously, though, it does "sound" as though things were extremely well.  When folks that close to a production post with cautious optimism, folks who saw it in the "real world" are probably throwing their hats in the air.

TOD:  Currently in my CD player is John Powell's original score to "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" (a little bit of HEAVEN).

In my DVR cache, among far too many:  "Random Harvest" with Greer Garson and Ronald Colman.

DVDs on deck:  Far too many.  So many I can't decide what to watch.

So, George, for your new show - do you do a standard curtain call or devour the tickets holders in the first two rows?

I'll have to let you know on that one.  I would assume that we'll attempt to devour the audience, but you never know what ideas the director has. ;)

Well don't freak out the audience!  I trust it would be done in a way that would have them laughing rather than running down the aisles.
