Well, it's just a stand in. I true fainting couch would have a padded arm - but that Miss Karen - she's a trooper, and she'll make do.

Do any of our musical theatre savvy New Yorkers have access to a recording of the muscial version of It's A Wonderful Life? It's being done by a theatre on Long Island for the Christmas season and Anthony is auditioning for it on Friday. He auditioned for it about 18 moths ago for another theatre (and didn't get cast) so he's familiar with some of the music. The auditioners said to sing a song from the show if you can. At the callbacks to the first audition Anthony sang Clarence's song but wasn't able to get a copy of the music. He wonders if anyone in the city has the music and/or the recording which he could listen to before Friday.

I must get back to work.

Glad to hear that Miss Karen arrived safely.

I was at the Flea Market early so I didn't get the end of day bargins.

I'm seeing The Ritz tomorrow evening.

I'm also going to see my doctor tomorrow morning for my annual physical. I expect to see a drop in my cholesterol after the changes I've made in diet (especially) and exercise. We shall see.

DR Ben, there's no commercial recording that I know of and there are at least two musical versions floating about - one by Walter Willison et al and one by Sheldon Harnick.  BK recorded a few songs from the Harnick version and I scored them.

Actually, it's the physical exertion spent in washing the bowl daily that lowers your cholestrol.
