I'm looking forward to a few days without thinking about my business. I'm getting the expected ups and downs of starting a new business, so I worry about it a lot.  This weekend, no worrying allowed or a loud...only fun.

We will probably be rather tired---I got 4 hours sleep last night and I doubt if Greg will get much sleep tonight because he has to uppack gear, reconfigure and pack more gear for the trip. It has turned into a working vacation for him. Besides White Plains on Sunday AM, he'll be volunteering to do some shooting for our egg cream film. I told him he could "just say no", but he has a hard time saying no to people who need his help.

So maybe we'll make a very LATE trip to Coney, or I'll go on my own. Should be pretty safe, right?

Sounds good to me, DR Cillaliz!  No dieting, either, right?

Was it something like Sarabeth's Kitchen?   That may not be the woman's name

Yep, Sarabeth's Kitchen.  That's where the photo was taken from which I created my avatar.  DH Richard and I have also eaten at the SK up in DR Elmore's neighborhood.

Ron, I’m very pleased your packages arrived for you today & you may now relax and enjoy them.

MBarnum, I vaguely remember WHIRLYBIRDS

Thanks, Jane!

A VERY excited Samantha just called me and told me every item she has packed to see if she needs to bring anything else.  I told her I was getting ready to pack and she said "OMIGOD you haven't packed yet???? It's taken me all day to decide what to take"   She and I have never really spent much time alone together and now it will be days...I think it will be a blast.    She will be arriving in SC mid afternoon and we'll go to Omaha from here and the adventures begin.

Actually I better get packing. I was thinking I had tomorrow morning, but I told my web designer I'd meet with him at 10:00 AM to get the website up and running.

DR Cillaliz - looking forward to meeting Samantha.  Hope you two have a safe trip to Omaha and a smooth flight to NYC on Friday.  See you Saturday!

Thanks Ginny. I'll start packing soon, but I'm not going to move for a little while, Boo decided to sleep on my lap and I want to give her a chance to cuddle since I'll be leaving her for a while

Jose thanks for the lemon meringue report.  I suspect I would have agreed with Alet.

Matt H, please remember to add a semi-spoiler to your new show posts.  Now when I watch HOUSE I’m going to be anticipating the ending, not going with the flow of the show.

Jane, every HOUSE episode ends with a twist. I gave NOTHING away.

I had a very full evening of viewing tonight. I began by watching last night's BOSTON LEGAL. Alan's case wasn't particularly interesting to me this week. None of the new lawyers impressed me at all. (And I'll bet Jerry and the new female lawyer he's sharing an office with are going to be set up as a love interest.)

I'm glad someone did. I kind of felt that it fell flat. I never got fully vested in the various tribulations they were dealing with.

But I'll give it another couple of chances before I decide it's not for me.

SVU introduced a new fixture to the squad room (he was a recurring character last season.)

Cynthia Nixon will no doubt be up for a guest performance Emmy next year even though I guessed the ending from a mile away since I have seen the movie PRIMAL FEAR.

AS THE WORLD TURNS did feature the gay characters today. Luke and Noah did share a kiss, naturally in front of an open door so that Noah's father could walk right in at that exact moment and see them. So very soap operaish.
