Cool photo Cilla.  It is somewhat difficult to read.  Does that matter?  I'm very much looking forward to seeing your website.

There were a number of photos and my web guy is better with photoshop and all that sort of thing than I am. He's going to try to fine on that's legible when reduced.  I have to write more content and do the links before it will be up.

I began my evening by watching another CSI: NY episode. Mac's son finally makes an appearance.

Hmm.. Well, bk may not be able to find mac'n'cheese in L.A. (although, I think if he looked a bit closer he might find it), but according to this article in today's NY Times, grilled cheese sandwiches seem to be the "now" thing out there.

Then I watched last night's SVU. A pretty good show that made me smile when the subject of avatars came up.

*And I'm guessing any restaurant that has a grilled cheese sandwich on their menu, probably has some form of mac'n'cheese too.

PUSHING DAISIES was certainly offbeat and very droll. Not sure this concept can be stretched to be a multi-season episodic show, but I was intrigued enough to certainly tune in again next week. (The announcer who gave everyone's ages down to the second got on my nerves after awhile.)

Oohhh... I guess I misread the NYMF schedule... The last performance of Such Good Friends is this Saturday at 1:00... And I'll be in rehearsal.  So tonight would have been my last chance to see it.  And see my friends in it.  :(

PRIVATE PRACTICE once again had me divided in my feelings.

The central story with the children was involving. The other stuff was so juvenile (strippers and bicycles). Is it going to get any better. I'm beginning to wonder.

I did enjoy DIRTY SEXY MONEY again, but tonight's episode wasn't really much of a build on last week's show. The politician dating a transsexual and the minister with the illegitimate son are the only family stories that have hooked me. I really don't care about any of the other siblings.

Well, damn, DR Jose! You could have come with me.

After the show I went down to Vintage on 9th & 51st for the joint birthday party of the lovely Cassie Abate and her roommate Heather.  The only "Brain" personnel to show up were stage manager Rachel Maier and Erin Webley, both of whom I love, so I hung out with them.

And now to bed.

There's been no real date set.  Yes.  And, frankly, I'd still like to take my time making way to the podium as it were.  I also think it would be one of those deals where I'd probably conduct a put-in rehearsal during the day, and then be on-call at night for any emergencies that may arise.  We'll see.  I still need to play a few shows in the pit, and that won't happen for another two weeks or so.

Alas, although I am honored - and humbled - that Brad asked me to come on board, the show is still not settling in all that well to my hands and head.  It just may not be "my show", so...  Once the two new girls have gotten their first shows out the way over the next two weeks, then we can start talking about my first shows as a pit pianist and a conductor.

Jose, who are the two new girls?  Since we saw them doing their dance by the stage door, it would be fun to know their names

Watched a motion picture on DVD but with continuous telephonic interruptions.  Am now listening to music and trying to still my obnoxious cough.

Sounds like the Fund Raiser is moving ahead with all possible dispatch.

As for the FU flyer.....I am sure they thought it was hilarious while they were doing it.....and it could have been written to show the person working in the chair next to someone, and then put in an envelope without thinking.

BUT I think it should be followed up on....and if no one confesses, all of them should receive NO CREDIT for the extra work.....

We are back from our NYMF double feature, having thoroughly enjoyed The Last Starfighter.  While we were waiting outside beforehand, a total stranger came up to Richard and said, "Didn't I see you in The Brain from Planet X the other night?"  We laughed about that and then, when we were in our seats, with Richard on the aisle, before the show started, DR FJL came up and started telling him about how in the second act an alien would come up the aisle and escort him onstage, etc.  Just kidding!

Also visiting our seats beforehand was DR Julie, whom I'd never met in person before.  She and DR FJL and Skip all seemed totally relaxed.

Yes, the dress did fit, and so will be worn on another occasion, DRJANE.  And it was deemed very nice.

Hmm... Well, since they are minors, and since they're not officially in the Playbills yet...  For now, I'll just say that their names, their first names are Alexandra and Lilah.

Argggghh - don't know if it's sleeping with the AC blowing right across our bed or riding the better part of the last two days atop double-decker sightseeing busses, but I've developed a sore throat.  And haven't been anywhere near DR Jason!

DR MISS KAREN - yes a Mercury retrograde is coming up, so batten down the hatches.

The Venus trine with Pluto certainly means that LOVE and ROMANCE can take a leap forward - NOW!!

And this is the perfect time to realize how far we have come in understanding ourselves.

He said that he was but he was back doing a few ONE LIFE TO LIVE episodes. He looked great, and he's such a sweetie.  I think his apartment's around the corner from mine.

I really like Tuc's character. He is a fine actor... He has a great rapport in his scenes with Robin Strasser.  I am glad ot hear he is returning
