Lovely performance pics from DR SINGDAW....I am sure you were a smashing success.

I am intrigued by the comments about LEGALLY BLONDE and I may watch some of it today.  Or maybe I am just intrigued by the fit of the band uniforms.

It is OVER!!!  Finished!!!

The wedding last night was lovely....no major problems.  When my sister posts some pictures, I will add a couple.

Everything was ON TIME and we kept things moving.  We were to be finished by 11:30 - and the happy couple were on their way to the limousine through a street lined with friends holding flaming sparklers at 11:20!!!

They are driving back to Maryland today - and then it's off to Italy on Tuesday....hopefully we will see lots of pictures of Florence....the city not the girl.

Hello, HHW!

JRAND, glad the wedding went well. Given what I've learned about Mercury retrogrades I'm glad to hear that it went so smoothly.

FJL, hope your foot feels better soon.

SINDDAW, thanks for the photos. It looks like you had a grand time!

Marvelous Matt is here today and we're trying to finish up the stuff that was forgotten, previously overlooked, etc. Like the kitchen faucet that was replaced only a year or two ago and shouldn't need to be replaced, but does. It wasn't on the list, but is flaky and I'm just plain tired of messing with it.

DR JMK, I do hope that the remaining portion of your kitchen remodel goes smoothly. In my experience, it's the little things that getcha.

Got back last night from helping my sister babysit little Taylor and Benjamin. A 2 years old and a 5 year old can certainly wear you out. Bosco went with me and loved all the attention from Taylor. In fact I awoke at 5:30 Saturday morning to the sound of Taylor, having snuck into my room, talking to and petting Bosco.

I bought them the set of STINGRAY dvds which they loved and watched practically non-stop! I guess it was a good investment!

We also went on a hayride to the pumpkin patch and then carved scary pumpkins.

I will shortly go to what sounds like a huge estate sale over on 25th Street...then will hie myself to Bi-Mart (my old place of employment) to buy some of their gigantic cans of deluxe mixed nuts. Afterward I shall sit on the couch and watch episodes of 87TH PRECINCT.

Sunday afternoon greetings!  This morning I saw DH Richard off for his seminary week in Wisconsin, then had a surprise visit from DS Rob and his girlfriend.  They just left, so I'm about to putter a bit.

DR JRand - congrats on the wedding.  Sounds lovely.

BK - take care and please see a physician!  This bug from which DR Vixmom and I are just recovering is a bad one - I was afraid for a while that I had pneumonia again.

It must have been our mood last night.  First we watched about 5 minutes of Women’s Detective Club.  My brother hadn’t liked it & Keith highly agreed with him, so after about 5 minutes we switched to Torchwood.  About a quarter of the way through Torchwood I said I wasn’t enjoying the episode.  Keith agreed and we turned it off.  I think at that point he may have taken it off the season pass list.

We then turned on The Reaper and found it much more enjoyable than last week’s episode, its still a keeper. :D

Matt H, we agree on How I Met Your Mother,  which sadly was the worst episode yet.  Since the show continues to go downhill we pulled it from our season pass.

MBarnum, a could just picture you and Bosco entertaining the little ones.  :)

JFL, I hope your foot stops hurting soon.

Bruce, you know you need to take care of yourself, and be careful for those around you.  You don't want anyone backing out of a show because you made them ill.  Drink lots of fluids & sleep elevated.  Feel better soon.

Oh why don't we just vote now and get it over with.   I for one will be glad to have it early.  We've had ads, people knocking on doors, annoying phone calls etc for over a year already.  Let the rest of you deal with the politicians.

You might encourage him to buy, and use, a thermometer.
