T.O.D.

My all-time favorite (a guilty pleasure) is the tacos at Jack-In-The-Box.  2 for $1.00.  They are wonderfully greasy, contain some unknown meat and bean combination, and are pure heaven.  I could eat six of those suckers, with no problem.

RE: flu shots

I"m not sure how they are done in the US. But here only certain people are really encouraged to get flu shots.  Elderly.  Very young kids.  People with very young kids.  If you qualify then you get the shot for free.

If i got it for free i would probably get it this year. My sis doesn't even know if my 2 yr old niece qualifies (or if either of them are supposed to get it). I guess we'll find out.

Robert Rothschild Farm

Was it the Cherry Almond Gourmet Sauce that you liked so much?

If you're in town on November 13, you could help us celebrate DH Richard's birthday!

Bingo! That was it.  Many thanks.

Well, if i'm not wearing concrete shoes ordered by the Macbeths and not tied up with family angst, the 13th sounds good.

Brunch with DR Jose was another round of scintillating dinner conversation at Hannafin's, next door to Artie's.  We essentially had brunch: omelettes for each of us, with side orders of sausage for me and bacon for DR Jose.  I'm back to continue work on David Burnham's chart and Jose is off to terrorize stroll through Central Park.

Saturday morning greetings!  It's an information-waitressing day for me.

I'm at work, too.  It's the cut-off for paying bills, so I must finish up paying the bills that I have. :P

After that, I need to take my cat, Ebonie, to the vet!  A couple of days ago, I noticed that one of her claws was not retracting and it was sticking out of her paw at a weird angle. :-\ When I looked up close, it looks like it's infected! :o Today is their walk-in day and when I'm done invoicing, I'll walk in (after driving there) with Ebonie.  Fortunately, it's only about a mile from where I live and about a half a mile from where I work!  But I'm still driving there. :) Also, she doesn't seem to be in any kind of paid or discomfort from it.  She's let me hold her paw to look at it and she climbs up and jumps down from counters with no problem, so that's good.  But I'm still taking her in.  And she needs to get her shots.

DR Cillaliz - When will you go see Callie today?

Thanks for asking.  I called the vet at bout 8:30 AM and he had good news, Callie had done almost all her duty and could go home today.  So I did some shopping, stopped at the office and got some work to do over the weekend and then picked her up at noon. So she is home with Boo and I.  She's a lot stronger than last month and seems fine, other than a smelly rear end., but she was only in over night this time and only had 2 enemas instead of 6 or 7.   The vet has prescribed a new stool softener in addition to what we're doing now. And if I can get them both to eat wet food, no more dry food.

She has no symptoms of megacolon. Her internals are fine, it's just the physical restricted opening that's the problem. So  the prognosis is good, we just have to find out what combination of meds will take care of the problem

Boo wasn't as upset about the way Callie smells this time, but she wants a lot more attention.

I get a flu shot every year because many of my clients are in jail or will be if they don't make a court date, so they are there even if they are very sick with the flu.  There are also a lot of people in jail with TB. You don't hear much about it, but it is a serious problem.  I'm not around them as much as I was when I was an FPD.  I finally decided to get tested for TB shortly before I left the FPD's office and I am negative. Whew!

Speaking of your website, DR Cillaliz, is it ready for us to examine?

There are no Dairy Queens in Manhattan (that I know of) ...

What about:

Dairy Queen Sign with Window Reflection of LaGuardia Place Residences

LaGuardia Place at 3rd Street - Greenwich Village NYC

There are about 50 million japanese beetles (look like lady bugs but sting and bite) on the south side of my house.  I'm hoping they don't get inside.  Boo eats them and throws up. It's really a joy, let me tell you
