LOL.  I had the same thought....except I have to wonder about the poster who said something about having a scratch on his back???...!!!

HER back, Ron. It was me. Three scratches on my back. I'm still leaning toward the phantom theory.

I watched several more episodes of THE L-WORD. I am 2 episodes from finishing the set, and I'll be glad when I do. Yes, even in a mediocre show, you do get caught up in the melodrama. Shane taking care of her brother Shay and then having the lousy father (Eric Roberts) show up and claim his son - well, you can't help but care.

I much preferred THE ADDAMS FAMILY to THE MUNSTERS.

I not only watched every episode of THE DICK VAN DYKE SHOW, I OWN every episode of THE DICK VAN DYKE SHOW. One of THE greatest comedy shows ever on TV.

If they were available, I'd own every episode of THE MARY TYLER MOORE SHOW, too, but they've only released four seasons thus far, and I have them all.

BONES had an amusing episode tonight but with a murderer that was easy to guess.

I did love Booth and Brennan with Dr. Sweets. Booth's dismissive treatment of him was hilarious.

Why would ANYONE try to use a chain saw during the Mercury retrograde?

LOL. They must not understand Mercury retrograde.

HOUSE had a fascinating case, another remedy I didn't see coming at all. And I was surprised who got sent packing though I understood the reasoning. I wish there could be some way this actor could be worked into the show as a regular. I really liked the character a lot.

Heck, I'm nervous about using a nail clipper during the retrograde. Just don't tell me we're having a moon void during the mercury retrograde...that may mean staying in bed  ;)

DAMAGES wrapped up its first season with some truly stunning surprises. Great wrap-up. Even if it doesn't get renewed, I really enjoyed the ride with this one!

Re: the fires in San Diego.

Does anyone know if there is anywhere that you can find out how close the fires are to a certain place?  I"m looking for the city of El Cajon and Santee.

I was looking for info on Del Mar earlier and went to the city's website. It had the street names listed for mandatory evacuations (which have now been lifted there) don't know if the cities you are looking for have web sites, but if you google them you may find one

And don't forget DR Cillaliz, you can revisit Family Affair any time that you won't now that it is on DVD!!!

LOL, thanks MBarnum.  I haven't seen it is SOOO long. But Mrs. Beasley was recovered from a box in my basement the last time this topic came up. She now lives on a bookshelf in my bedroom.

DANCING WITH THE STARS.

RESULTS SPOILERS

I really really do not get it. Why are the judges constantly surprised when the moderately good dancers get put in the B2. Tonight they were shocked that jane seymour was in the bottom (she did not go).  Who exactly are they expecting to be in the bottom?

To me Mark cuban and marie osmond were the worst. But then it has to be jane. I like jane seymour. and she is doing great for her age. But i wasn't at all surprised. I mean someone has to be in the bottom!

Mom and I weren't surprised at all either.  And.....I agree with you on the worst two dancers....must be the moon void ;)

This day has been a very long day. Work was very busy and crazy AND they haven't turned on the heat yet, which is fine if you have a south window where the sun shines, but I'm on the northwest corner.   I complained pretty loudly that my office shouldn't be 60 degrees at noon (when i got back from an unexpected but necessary trip to immigration court in Omaha).

They are bringing me a space heater to get me through until they start the boiler.  It's 32 degrees at night...what are they waiting for?

This evening has included the surprise appearance of a hairball via Boo and no new entries in the "fill the litter box" contest.   I think it's time to get some sleep. I gave Callie the ultimatum...produce by morning or I call the vet.   We'll see what happens.

I am enjoying a glass with a small amount of grape juice and the rest is sparkling water. Does anyone else do that rather than drinking soda?

Yes, but I substitute fermented grape juice and use ginger ale.

I wish there could be some way this actor could be worked into the show as a regular. I really liked the character a lot.

He is not necessarily leaving the show (the hospital), just House's staff (Remember House suggested another slot for him on the season opener, and reiterated that idea in the his closing scene tonight.)
