For any fans of THE FAMILY GUY and THE MUSIC MAN, this is a must-see!

You might want to skip past the first minute, though...

I would like it, George. Does it explain how it works? I've never used a site like that.

Also, I got my DVD package today. Thank you so much, George!!

You're welcome!

I'll PM you the Photobucket info.  Feel free to pass it on to any other HHW user (that you know).

I have to leave not to usher, so I won't be able to re-send it until I get back tonight.  Hopefully, that won't be a problem.

Have a good evening, all!

If you have had a pneumonia shot since turning 65, Medicare will not pay for another!

?  i have this correct, they will only pay for your first shot & then never again?  this also applies to people with a history of pneumonia?

what is the ruling on flu shots?

edisaurus - it JUST came to me - wouldn't The Closer like to donate some DVDS or hats or a signed script or a show jacket to our silent auction?  Of course, I'd need it by tomorrow or first thing Monday morning - I HATE when I think of things at the last minute.

Btw, don't forget they are showing WICKED on tonight's UGLY BETTY.
Even better, it was the LOS ANGELES production of Wicked!

Loved the shots of the lobby of the Pantages Theater!

And we got a preview of one (or two, I've lost track) of the performers at BK's fundraiser!

i had good news today, i didn't damage any tendons in my foot & there were no surprises on the x-ray.  the doctor wanted to fit me with orthotics.  i've tried them before & they hurt.  he said they are alway hard, for support.  i nixed that idea so he said to only wear my extra support saucony's, & to nt go barefoot, even in the house.

DR EDISAURUS - once you upload the photo into PhotoBucket you will see a list of URLS underneath.  Copy the one that starts with [img] and then paste it into your post here and the picture will appear.

Der B and I have been invited to a party on Saturday.

Joe, who is a cutter in the meat department, and his Bill are holding a party for some reason, which remained unclear, at the house of a friend of theirs.  It sounded like some kind of fundraiser - more details should be on the flier Joe will get to me tomorrow.

I guess this means recording Torchwood.

At that, I should be retiring.  Tomorrow will start early, or at least early enough.

I'm back from seeing a delightful show GREETINGS FROM YORKVILLE, which is essentially a review of songs performed by the writing couple Robert Grusecki (Music) and Anya Tucker (lyrics), with enough dialogue and some good staging to put the numbers into a story about their relationship.  As performers, I like their musicianship, quirky and distinctive voices with great pitch and diction, and I wish this show well.  DRJose and I were in an audience of no more than 25, and the theatre should be packed. I have their two albums, and I cannot recommend their writing and performances highly enough. A lot of the numbers are from the recordings but there are a couple of tasty items from their adaptation of MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING and I wish them and this show much good.  If you can get to it, do.

There's also a very funny sendup of the "Ballad of Sweeney Todd." I hope someone can do a cast album of YORKVILLE.

If anyone would like more info on them, here's their site:

Well if i was unhappy yesterday when i noticed the paperboy hit my pumkin (and made the skeleton slouch), imagine my surprise today to find some animal had eaten the entire skeleton. :)

It left me with a huge hole as my pumpkin face. :)

I came home tonight to a package from the UPS containing two boxes of Sees Peanut Brittle from my dear, dear Laurie "Queen of Outer Space" Mitchell! Oh, my gosh it is soooooooooooo goood!

I called her up to say thank you and we had a very nice chat. She told me that yesterday she got the outside of the house all decorated for Halloween and went out and bought a costume to wear (one of the witches from WICKED?!) and readied herself for the onslaught of trick or treaters...well, she waited and waited...and around 9 pm she got her one and only trick or treater and it was an infant in a baby carrier  ;D

Laurie's husband Ron laughed his head off!

They just moved to this neigborhood in Northridge a few months ago and she now realizes the whole block are just old people! LOL!

I know it just turned November, but will December never get here?
