DR Elmore - I did, indeed, get all your attachments yesterday.  Printed them at work (ssshhh!) and hope to have some time to read them and listen.

Have fun today!

DR Jrand - I don't believe I've passed on my Well Wishes and Vibes of "Relief" to Ryan and the rest of your Family either.  I'm guessing Thanksgiving came early this year.  :)

OK, so we all know how sweet our DR Jose is, but I think we should put a warning label on him after all these incidents of diabetics fainting when he is near.

Good morning!

Another abnormally warm day for us here. Another high of 75! Amazing.

I've read nothing but raves about ENCHANTED today. The local critic have it 3 1/2 stars out of 4. Reviews everywhere else are also enthusiastic.

BK friend Amy Adams is getting glowing notices across the boards (a la Julie Andrews in MARY POPPINS kind of glowing). There's Oscar-talk afoot.

We got up early to be ready for the plumber who was going to come and give us our yearly inspection, and, we hoped, run the gas line so we could hook up our new stove.

The estimate to do this was almost $1,000! We almost fainted (and Jose was nowhere near us!) My DH has decided to do it himself. It should cost less than $200 for materials, he figures.

Today I'll be watching DRUNKEN ANGEL on Criterion. If the PIRATES DVD comes today as I suspect, I'll save it for the weekend.

Let's not forget about PROJECT RUNWAY tonight.

I have pretty much given up on PUSHING DAISIES, but Christopher Sieber is guest starring tonight (also Paul Reubens), so I'll have to watch him. And I'll watch PRIVATE PRACTICE just because there's nothing else on at 9 that I want to see.

Ask bk:

What's the latest on your book signing? Where and when? My DH, a.k.a. "Oh crap, you want my name?" may be in town and if so, might like to go.

Oh, and the estimate to knock a hole through cement block to run a dryer vent: over $600! We are obviously in the wrong business!

Hmm... I smell smoke. Cigarette smoke that is.  After dinner last night, a couple of us stopped by a friend's new place just for a few minutes to check out his new place.  Alas, said friend smokes.  I actually don't mind cigarette smoke that much when it is "happening", but I guess I forgot how much I don't like it when it lingers in my clothes and hair.  :-\

-Of course, now I'm wondering if I should wear said jacket out today in order to help air it out, or whether I should wear something else.  ???

Well... While I was playing Passion at Signature Theatre, an audience member had a heart attack.

When I was on the road with Anything Goes, there were at least two medical emergencies during the course of that tour while the show was running.

During each show I've played at Ford's Theatre (All I Ever Needed To Know...., Eleanor: An American Love Story, Children of Eden, 1776), someone has required medical attention in the audience.

And then during Mamma Mia!...  Well...  I guess I better stop before I stop getting hired.  ;)

You have to stop jumping out of the pit to grope meet them!

DR MBarnum almost had apoplexy the first time you met him.

RE: DANCING WITH THE STARS being a popularity contest.

I actually sort of disagree.

Yes, more popular celebs have a better chance (bigger fanbase).  But i haven't really seen the public keep people if they are bad.

There have been some more popular celebs (jerry springer, wayne newton). And maybe some stay longer than they should. BUt usually they get voted out before the end.

DISCUSSION OF THIS WEEK'S ELIMINATED CONTESTANT.

In Marie's case, she actually did extremely well this week. I was impressed with how well she did and how hard she tried.  Just based on this week alone, i think she did enough to stay.  However on a whole i don't think she is as good as jennie garth.

I really don't think marie osmond will win.  I am curious whose vote jennie's fans will go to.

I will also be curious to see who wins. I would be fine with either mel b or helio.  Although i've been cheering for helio and julianne since the start.

The highlight of this evening will, undoubtedly, be "Project Runway."

SPOILERS about this week's CHUCK

I was just reading DR George's comments about watching CHUCK.  I also watched it last night.  And i must say for someone (me) who usually sees things coming a mile away, I had no idea about the final reveal.   Very awesome!

I received, via UPS yesterday, the complete soundtrack recording to "Lord of the Rings: Return of the King."  It's quite something.  There are four CDs and one DVD.  The one DVD presents all the music that is on the four CDs.

I've not yet investigated this anomaly.  I think it may be a concert, though.

The book of "Wicked" did not, alas, show up.  Even though it was scheduled to be delivered YESterday.

I would be truly shocked if marie won. I really would. I honestly don't think she has been finishing first.  She is not anywhere near the level of the other two.  And i truly don't see the fans giving her the win.
